Awesome Industries Desert Rose Seeds are mixed-color Non-GMO heirloom Adenium obesum seeds for growing distinctive tropical flowering succulents known for their thick caudex trunks, sculptural root structures, fleshy leaves and colorful trumpet-shaped flowers. Our Adenium seeds are freshly collected and properly stored to maintain seed quality. Because these plants are grown from mixed-color seeds, individual plants can produce a wide variety of flower colors, patterns and forms, including shades of pink, red, white, purple and other color variations. Flowers may develop single, double or multi-petal forms. Exact flower color, pattern and form cannot be guaranteed when growing from seed. Starting Your Seeds: Soak seeds in clean water for several hours before planting. Sow in a well-draining seed-starting, succulent or potting mix and cover lightly. Keep the growing medium warm and consistently moist, but not waterlogged, during germination. Under suitable conditions, germination commonly begins within approximately 4–15 days. Once seedlings become established, gradually increase light exposure and reduce watering frequency as the plants mature. Desert Rose prefers bright light and well-draining soil. Mature Adenium obesum plants are drought tolerant and should be allowed to dry more between waterings. As Desert Rose matures, it develops its characteristic thick caudex trunk, unique branching habit and sculptural root structure. Combined with fleshy foliage and colorful trumpet-shaped flowers, these characteristics make Adenium especially popular for bonsai and ornamental growing. Desert Rose can be grown in pots, containers and suitable outdoor garden locations in warm conditions or maintained as an indoor container plant where adequate light is available. Plants should be protected from cold temperatures. Growing Desert Rose from seed provides the opportunity to develop individually unique plants because flower color, pattern, petal form, caudex shape and growth characteristics naturally vary from seedling to seedling.
