A good charger, but make sure you understand how the Joycons should be oriented.
This is a must have if you own more than one set of joycons. It's very easy to get the joyconsin and out of the charger, and the magnet isn't overly strong. Definitely nowhere near as strong as the magnet on the Switch 2 itself. They fit wit no wiggle.The lights are a little bright, so I'd recommend LED dimming tape over them if you plan to leave this charging in your bedroom while you're going to bed.One trick is that the it's basically two pairs of charging stations. So when you put a pair of joycons in, make sure that the buttons are facing each other, and the shoulder buttons should be closest to the charging lights.Ver másVer menos

First Impressions:Right out of the box, this Switch 2 controller charging dock felt surprisingly heavier than I expected but in a good way. It feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy. It’s small and compact, which makes it perfect for both travel and everyday storage. The clean design fits in nicely on a desk or as part of a visible gaming setup without taking up much space or looking out of place.Performance and Everyday Use:This dock can handle up to two sets of controllers at once, which is exactly what I needed. Each set clicks perfectly into place with no fuss, and I really appreciated that even with my large joystick grips, the spacing was generous enough that I didn’t have to remove them to dock the controllers. That’s a huge relief and adds to its everyday convenience.Charging is fast and consistent. It didn’t heat up during use, and the LED indicator lights are a really helpful touch, they clearly show when each controller is fully charged, so there’s no guessing. It does require a USB charging block, which isn’t included, but that wasn’t a problem for me since I already had several.Build Quality and Design:The build feels solid for its size, with a good weight that adds a bit of stability. I especially like that it has a non-slip bottom, it stays in place and doesn’t slide around, which helps prevent accidental drops. The included charging cable is around 3 feet long, more than enough for most setups, and the fact that it’s wrapped in a threaded material gives me confidence it’ll hold up over time without fraying.Value and Price:For what it offers...dual charging, compact design, indicator lights, solid build, I think the price is totally fair. Solid Joy-Con Charger with a Few Small Flaw
The CoBak Charging Dock feels like a quality accessory right out of the box. The plastic is firm, the top has a textured grip, and the rubber feet keep it steady on a desk or TV stand. Setup was simple with the included USB-A to USB-C cord, and everything worked immediately.The dock is compact, about the size of a paperback book, but still sturdy enough for daily use. It can charge up to four Joy-Cons at once, and two more if you use your Switch 2, which is great for parties or keeping backup controllers ready to go. All four of my Joy-Cons were fully charged in under three hours, and the charge was consistent across all slots. The LED lights are easy to read, with clear red and blue indicators that should work for most people, including those who manage color blindness. Another benefit is that it works independently of the console, and though it can also be powered through the Switch 2, and the console does not need to be powered on to power the charging dock.There are a few things I did not love. The controllers need to be seated properly, and while it usually works without much effort, there is no magnetic lock like you get when sliding them onto the Switch 2. The LED lights pulse when the Switch is on, and there is no way to dim or disable them. Some slots seem better suited for left or right Joy-Cons, but the dock does not have markings to make that clear.Overall this is a fairly priced and reliable charging dock that gets the job done. It charges quickly, feels well made, and keeps things simple. Sleek, preferred over tower-type chargers.
Low-profile, sleek, and does exactly what you expect it to. Charges quickly, and no issues with fitment and easy to plop the joycons in and take out. Wish it came with a longer cord, but I have a million of these things anyways and just used one of the longer ones I had laying around. Not much else to say since it does the job. I used to prefer the tower style chargers but this much better, as its sleeker and easier to dust off. Packaging was fine, came wrapped in that satisfying soft plastic opaque wrap and the box was, well, a box that didn’t need extra fluff. Only for Switch 2 joycons!Ver másVer menos

Perfect addition to my Switch 2 setup
I usually game with my Switch 2 docked, but hate having to struggle with the joycons to charge them. This is the perfect solution. The joycons plug in easily, and charging occurs right away. It does charge a tad slow considering they state it charges fast, and I give that a big plus! Why, because slower charging will make the batteries last longer. If you are a marathon gaming like me, get this to keep playing longer and better than before.Ver másVer menos

Weighted, magnetic, and slow to charge
This charging cradle is more or less just as advertised. It's more compact than I thought, which is good. It feels pretty good quality, especially for being under $10. The materials and design are nice for this price point; the shell of the base in plastic and there's a softer rubber material on top.The charging base has 4 slots for 2 sets of controllers. The base is advertised as being weighted, and that feels true. It's also advertised as having magnetic slots. It's certainly not the "locking" level of magnetics as are in the Switch itself. As a result, the controllers stay upright when charging, but are loose and don't feel locked in.Don't expect fast charging; this comes with a USB-C-to-USB-A cable, so that will present as a bottleneck. I played with 1 set of controllers for about an hour and put these on the charger to top them off. To charge to 100% took a full hour.Overall, the charging base works as advertised and is pretty easy to operate. The quality is great for the price. Pretty awesome and works as advertised
No issued at all. Love that the base is weighted, so it doesn't move around much. Charges all my switch 2 joy con quickly and efficiently. Not sure how I made it work without a similar contraption for Switch 1, I think I just switched controllers a lot to keep everything charged.
