Don't be afraid to purchase them
I can definitely say that these seeds are superb. Germination is at 90% at the moment. It's my first time growing desert rose seeds, I soaked them in sun-warmed water for 2 hours before planting. I recommend these seeds 100%. I live in Jamaica 🇯🇲 where the heat is brutal and I think this temperature is ideal for these seeds. I mist them 2x per day.Ver másVer menos

Almost all 100 germinated..!
96% Germination. Sowed in a mix of 50% medium perlite/ 50% SunGro potting mix. I added about 1/8 inch of the mix over the seeds. Kept damp but not drenched. Most seeds germinated in the first week. Repotted after the 3rd set of leaves emerged. Temps were around 80F at night and 92F during the day. They were not in direct light and I did not cover the seeds with a lid or plastic. Since repotted individually and they are growing fast. Zero loss to date. Most likely user error if they are not germinating. Go with the 100 count and try different mixes if you are not having luck with germination.Ver másVer menos

Great seed. Quick sprout time
These arrived July 1st. Shipping was on time with date given when I checked out. They arrived in 1 bag. Only a couple were broken. Total 105 was in my bag. The order was for 100. I soaked them for 24hrs then put them in soil. Today is July 8th. Around 70 of them are up out of the ground. I expect at least a few more as you can see where some seeds that are left are starting to root. I will purchase from this buyer again even if no more sprout. 70 out of 105 is a great number but like I said I expect more within a few days to come up. Ill update in a few days on if more come up or not.Ver másVer menos

Desert rose seeds
I am trying to get in touch with the seller. I only received 4 seeds and the one that sprouted is not doing good. I use very good seed starter soil and I am doing everything I need to do to promote growth. Please let me know how to reach the seller. Thank you. Valerie Burns.Ver másVer menos

Wow! Spectacular! Love these guys!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from these desert rose seeds. But they are excellent, great germination count. I believe I have between 92 and 95 good plants. I’m very excited, I am about two weeks to a month away from separating them out. Fast growing with little effort. I have them on my front porch which faces north for now. I am in Missouri, they received about 5 hours or so of morning light. Missouri afternoon sun with our humidity is brutal, even to desert rose. I water when the soil is almost dry. With very well draining soil. Use more perlite than you think you should. I thought I over did the perlite but I think they could have used more. Truly a joy to watch them grow up!Ver másVer menos

Awesome desert rose seeds!
These are awesome desert rose seeds . . . (Adenium Obesum) The easiest and fastest growing variety. I purchased 2 100 packs of seeds. . . 84 out of 100 came forth out of the 1st pack of 100. . . That's an 84 percent germination rate. Did some extra research on germination. . . This is what I did and did not do . . .I didn't soak them for 24 hours.... This long causes some seeds to rot. . . 6 to 8 hours is perfect. Use a gritty mix . . . I made my own. . . 50 percent potting mix, 50 percent perlite. Lay them flat on the mix that you have watered, and make sure that it drains well. They don't like their feet kept wet, it causes rot, use a thin layer of mix to cover the seeds, I used less than a quarter inch, just enough to cover them, then I misted them lightly. I used a seedling tray first and covered it with Saran wrap and poked holes for venting, it worked well, I also put some in four inch pots and turned one of my grow tents into a humidity chamber. Both methods and the seeds were pushing up in three days. As soon as the majority pop up take away the humidity and give them bright light with temperature ranges from 82 to 90 degrees farenheit. They thrive in these conditions. The next 100 I'm going to record with a small cam and speed it up so it can be viewed as to what to expect in three days. This is my method. Real plants. . . Real results, no fluff. Happy growing 🌱🌱🌱🌿🌿🌿🌡️🌡️🌡️🌊🌊🌊🕊️🕊️🕊️Ver másVer menos
