Great for small cottage food business.
This is a great little printer for my small cottage food business. I was getting logo stickers custom printed and shipped. This printer prints them as good as and cheaper than the custom stickers I get. And I can print just as many as I need at any given time. No need to order in bulk to save money.Cottage food laws require certain labeling and this printer is a game changer for that! I was using various means to create and affix the required labels. This printer streamlines that process! I've had nothing but good results with the labels I've made. I've ordered and used multiple sizes and shapes of labels for various purposes and they've all worked well.You can only use niimbot branded labels. I don't really have a problem with that as long as prices stay as reasonable as they are and the quality remains.Ver másVer menos

Small and handy for quick labeling
First thing, this is very easy to use and set up. Took me about 3 minutes from opening the box to printing a label. That being said though, the labels are small (see attached pictures) and if you add more than 2-3 lines, it is hard to read. The good news is that the NIIMBOT manufacture offers different sizes, types and colors of labels for this unit that gives the user choices. And they are not costly either! As these are thermal printers, what label roll you purchase determines what color label you get. The label I show is the original that came with the printer, and it is white with black letters. But the manufacture offers a bunch more that have color background and writing. Read the descriptions carefully to get the desired outcome you are looking for. Just remember that this is not your average computer printer that has onboard inks to print colors where you want them. These color labels have the ink inside of the paper which is released when the thermal printer activates it. Just don't be fooled by some of the pictures shown, because they are captured close up. (Look at the label on the half gallon Milk Bottle.) All in all, this label printer is going to be very handy to have around. I can see many uses for it.Ver másVer menos

More defined printing.
The printer is great. It has very good clarity and definition. What I wish I knew before buying is to get the better templates you have to purchase them. Other than that it worked after charging as expected. App easy to get and use.

Not what I expected
This thermal printer prints basic labels pretty good. It's clear and lines up well. The app is OK but was kicking me out a lot even attempting to print drafts I've made. It keeps saying there is a big and closes the app and disconnected the machine.As far as photo prints, it doesnt do as hips of a job as i thought it would. Pictures are not very detailed. Washed out or top dark. It does not print in red at all even with the red and black labels I purchased, it still only prints in black ( not as advertised. )The customer service at niimbot needs work too. They don't listen very well and take a long time to actually answer questions and when they do, they just go in circles when trouble shooting.I dont recconend this product. It doesnt print in red and black as they say it should. I porches the labels they said I needed and it still didn't work.I expected the quality to be better at that price.The labels were easy to load. It didn't tell me when the labels were almost out. It just violently grinned and clicked when labels ran out as F wouldn't stop until I opened it.Not good for longevity I would assume.The look is cool. Retro.But I need it for functionality.If you just want to print baddies labels, it's OK. But I needed more.It charges via USB c. So that's good at least. LolVer másVer menos

Love it !
I love this little label maker! Helped when we were organizing crafts and clothing!! So easy to use. I don’t do anything super crazy so I can’t speak to the subscription.
