Simple, sturdy, and the magnetic holder is a great feature

This stainless steel ice scoop does exactly what I was hoping it would. The scoop feels solid and durable, with smooth edges and a comfortable handle that’s easy to grip. It also has a clean, polished look that complements my ice maker instead of looking like a cheap utility scoop. My favorite feature is the built-in magnet. Instead of leaving the scoop sitting in the ice or searching for it in a drawer, I can attach it to the side of the ice maker so it’s always within reach. It helps keep the scoop clean and keeps the freezer more organized. The stainless steel construction is easy to rinse off and doesn’t retain odors or stains like some plastic scoops can. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and the perfect size for filling cups or water bottles.Considering the quality, this scoop is a great value for a stainless steel product. It looks great, works exactly as expected, and is a simple upgrade that makes everyday use more convenient.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, attractive, and practical ice scoop.Ver másVer menos

8 oz Metal Ice Scoop — Tapered No-Spill Design + Strong Magnetic Holder

I picked this up to replace the small plastic scoop that came with my countertop ice maker, and the upgrade is immediately noticeable in both quality and usability.Size & Capacity -Big UpgradeThe included scoop with my machine was small and plastic—functional, but not great. This metal scoop is:-8 oz capacity (holds a solid amount per scoop)-Larger and more efficient-Fits comfortably inside my ice maker (9" opening) without hitting the sidesGrip, Shape & Ice Control-This is where it really stands out.-The scoop is tapered, so ice doesn’t slide everywhere when pouring-Holds a full scoop without spilling-Even when tilted or lightly shaken, the ice stays in placeThat tapered shape makes a big difference when transferring ice quickly.Pour Test (Narrow Cup)I poured ice into a small, narrow cup to test control:-Easy to guide-No mess or awkward dumping-Smooth, controlled pour🧲 Magnetic Holder (Strong + Scratch-Safe)The included magnet is surprisingly strong:-Holds securely on both my ice maker and refrigerator-I slid it up and down the fridge surface—no scratching-Keeps the scoop accessible and off the counter⚠️ One Thing to Know (Length)The scoop is slightly long:When hung on the side of my ice maker, it rested on the counterWorks much better mounted on the fridge instead•Easy to Clean•Dishwasher safe•Smooth metal surface rinses clean easily👍 What I Like✔️ Durable metal construction✔️ 8 oz capacity (fewer scoops needed)✔️ Tapered design = controlled pouring, less mess✔️ Strong magnet that doesn’t scratch surfaces✔️ Dishwasher safe✔️ Much better than standard plastic scoop⚠️ What Could Be Better⚠️ Slightly long for some countertop placementsFinal ThoughtsThis is one of those small upgrades that actually improves daily use. Between the larger capacity, tapered shape, and strong magnetic holder, it’s far more practical than the basic scoop that comes with most ice makers.Just be mindful of the length when choosing where to store it.⭐️I included photos and videos of what to expect from this ice scooper, + real life useVer másVer menos

  Great for small ice maker

This is so nice and it works well with the small ice maker I have. And I really like the hook I came with is magnetic and I can just stick it to the side of the ice maker. It’s a perfect size.

  Beautiful and functional

I am loving this! I purchased it because I hate how the water pools around the scoop when it is laid on the Matt that came with my Opal ice machine. The little magnetic hooks are easy to position and hold the scoop and tongs beautifully. The size is also perfect to fill my water bottle. The finish is beautiful too!Ver másVer menos

Great replacement for the original GE scoop.

I have a GE Opal 2.0 chunk icemaker. In a move the original scoop was lost. This one is virtually a clone of the original. The magnet and hook are really strong and hold it firmly in place even on the stainless steel side panel. The finish is as good as the original. The scoop volume size is 2.3 ounces which is virtually the same as the one that came with the icemaker. Also this one costs a lot less than the one sold by GE for $24.Ver másVer menos

The magnetic hook alone is worth the price — the scoop itself is just a bonus

I've owned my GE Profile Opal 2.0 for about eight months now and it has completely spoiled me on nugget ice. The one thing that's bugged me since day one is the scoop situation. The plastic scoop that came with it felt flimsy and cheap next to a $500 ice maker, and I kept setting it down on the counter, which felt gross. I'd been putting off finding something better and finally just looked it up — glad I did.The magnetic hook is the feature that sold me and it does not disappoint. It attaches firmly to the side of the Opal 2.0 and holds the scoop right there, out of the way and off any surface. The magnet is strong enough that the scoop has never slipped or fallen even when I bump the machine grabbing something nearby. It keeps everything contained and tidy, which if you know the Opal, matters — the machine already takes up meaningful counter space so you don't want accessories scattered around it.The scoop itself is genuinely solid. Stainless steel with some real heft to it — not thin or tinny feeling. The 8 oz size is just right for filling a tumbler or a cocktail glass in one or two scoops without being so big it's awkward to maneuver inside the ice bin. Edges are smooth with no sharp spots, and the handle has a comfortable grip even with slightly damp hands, which let's be honest, is always the situation when you're scooping ice.I've run it through the dishwasher three times now and it came out looking exactly the same each time — no spotting, no discoloration, no rust starting at the seams. For something that touches my food and drink every single day, that matters a lot to me.Ver másVer menos

  I wanted a metal I scoop. I got a metal ice scoop.

I use this with my GE Profile fridge which has an ice maker but no in-door dispenser. It scoops the perfect amount of ice every time, as if someone is controlling it and knows the exact size cup the ice is for. It also does a great job of breaking up cubes with separation anxiety. The scoop itself is solid and well-made. It feels like a real kitchen tool, not a novelty. The magnetic hook sticks to the fridge and holds it conveniently and securely, so it always has a home and I always know where it is.Ver másVer menos
