The PTU-4200-8B handled the outdoor gig like a champ.
🎤 Phenyx Pro PTU-4200-8B Wireless Microphone System — Field-Tested ReviewI had the chance to put the Phenyx Pro PTU-4200-8B through its paces during an outdoor gig today, and I have to say — it performed so great that I felt compelled to share my thoughts.🌟 First Impressions• Solid build quality: The receiver and handheld mics feel rugged and well-constructed, with a matte metal finish that gives off a professional vibe.• Setup simplicity: Frequency hopping technology made syncing all eight mics a breeze. I was up and running in minutes, even in a busy RF environment.🔊 Performance Highlights• Crystal-clear audio: Each mic delivered clean, stable sound with no noticeable hiss, dropouts, or feedback — even with performers moving freely across a wide outdoor stage.• Reliable range: The system maintained a strong signal up to 200 feet, which was perfect for our open-air setup.• User control: On-the-fly volume and mute adjustments directly from the transmitters were a huge plus, especially during transitions between acts.🧰 System FeaturesFeature DetailsChannels 8 handheld dynamic micsFrequency Groups 8×20 UHF tunable frequenciesOutputs 8 XLR + 1 mixed ¼"Range Up to 200ft line-of-sightAccessories Windscreens, anti-roll rings, rack ears, AA batteries🛠️ Real-World UseThe PTU-4200-8B handled the outdoor gig like a champ. Despite variable weather and ambient noise, the cardioid capsules kept vocals focused and feedback-free. The anti-rolling rings were a thoughtful touch — no runaway mics during setup or teardown.✅ Final VerdictIf you're looking for a budget-friendly, high-capacity wireless mic system that doesn’t skimp on performance, the PTU-4200-8B is a winner. It’s ideal for live bands, church events, karaoke setups, and multi-speaker conferences. After today’s gig, I’d confidently recommend it to anyone needing reliable wireless audio in demanding environments.Ver másVer menos

8X the goodness
Another great microphone set from Phenyx Pro. I have tested this with all the frequencies running at once and did not experience any issues. The construction is pretty good. As with all of their mics, the plosives are a bit louder then on higher end sets. But, overall, for the price, you cannot beat a set like this. If you are needing a large quantity of microphones for karaoke, church, or a small stage setup, this would be a great fit.Ver másVer menos
Made With Love
Great product
I Received the PTU-4200-8H from Phenyx Pro and I have been absolutely pleased using these microphones. I used them in a live setting two times and in several practice sessions and I’ve not had any drop outs or distortion of any kind. The sound is crisp and clear and the battery life is great. These microphones come with colored anti roll sleeves that you can use if you need that they also come with pop filters which I thought was a nice touch and batteries for all the microphones and the receiver also comes with rackmount ears that can be attached as you can see in the pictures i opted to use them or it can be used desktop. The build quality is great the microphones are metal and feel really good with a great screen that shows you any info you may need as well as the receiver is metal with a great screen. Now time for the cons and I only have a couple one issue I had with the microphones and it’s not a big deal just preference is that it only shows the channel letter for a very short time and then changes to the frequency it would be nice if they displayed abcd etc the whole time. Another is the mute option the microphone kinda goes into sleep mode and the screen goes out and only displays the battery life after a while so when you go to mute the microphone you have to push the power button once to wake up the microphone and then again to mute it. It would be nice if you always only had to push the button one time. The last con is at least in my case if you have the gain up to high on each channel the receiver picks up noise and is then transmitted to your speakers it was a learning curve to get everything adjusted but with a little work they sound awesome. If your looking for a great wireless system that won’t break the bank look no further then the Phenyx Pro PTU-4200-8HVer másVer menos

Seem to work well .. Came pre-programmed.
Seem to work well .. Came pre-programmed. ( Not sure if you can change them )Good sound, heavy mics, AA-battery's is Nice :)They Doesn't seem to have a lot of audio output. So you'll need kind of a big amplifier.

Great Mic for Beginners and Small Events
I’ve been using the Phenyx Pro Wireless Microphone System 8-Channel Metal Set for a few weeks, and overall, I’m really impressed. This mic set is perfect for beginners and works great for karaoke nights. It’s also a solid choice for small churches, school events, or any setting where you need multiple wireless mics without breaking the bank. The system comes packed with a lot of professional technology, which can feel a little overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very reliable. Sound quality is clear, and the wireless range is good enough for most small-to-medium spaces. Build quality feels sturdy, especially for the price point. The only reasons I didn’t give it five stars are that the setup can be a bit tricky if you’re not familiar with wireless systems, and it has a lot of features that aren’t strictly necessary for casual use. I also wish there were an easier way to switch channels and a simpler method for rack-mounting the system.Overall, a great value for anyone starting or looking to host events with multiple microphones.Ver másVer menos

Loved them!!
We loved these mics, we use them for our church service and they work perfectly. The size, the width of the handle, the design, everything was great. Totally worth it! I think they are very cheap for what you get! Very good quality, long battery life, awesome sound quality, and very easy to set up.Ver másVer menos
