Just what I needed.
I ordered a license plate bracket and I was concerned with the mounting hardware so I ordered this kit. I was correct to be concerned with the license plate bracket since I could not mount it with screws it came with. This screw kit with the nylon inserts fit perfectly in my bumper predrilled holes and was able to get the bracket installed.Ver másVer menos

7/16" Drill
Can't put a square plug in a round hole no matter how much lubricant you use. You're going to have to drill and make that existing hole just a bit larger. Don't be lazy.

Great For Mounting Replacement Vehicle Door Speakers!
I have a 2016 Chevy Express cargo van with factory OEM speakers mounted in the bottom of the 2 front doors. I bought some after market speakers to replace the mediocre OEM speakers. Those OEM speakers were mounted to the doors with rivets that I had to drill out that left some ragged holes in the sheet metal. I didn’t trust using sheet metal screws to hold the new speakers to the doors. The speaker opening in each door is a “blind” hole - there is no access to the back of the hole to get a lock washer, flat washer and nut on a screw. I thought about license plate holding hardware and decided to try that. I drilled the 4 holes the diameter of the square hole needed for the nylon inserts and used a square file to square up the corners to end up with square holes. I snapped a nylon insert into each of the 4 holes for each speaker. The 1/4” diameter stainless steel screws that come with the inserts fit perfectly through the speaker mounting housing holes and into the nylon inserts. This holds the speakers firmly held in place and they will not vibrate loose. I’m very happy how this turned out!Ver másVer menos
