Great buy
This works great. It is easy to use and is just plug and play. Just set up a capture program like obs and you are good to go with your second computer. The video capture quality is great there is no lag

Not Good
Freezes all the time don’t buy waste of money if your buying a capture card buy a more expensive one there is zero point just a waste of money.

Budget solution for amateurs like me
We've done a few tests and the results are really impressive.OBS allowed me to record a bit of Xbox and some pc screens.The results were good. There appears to be a 1080p max resolution which is fine for now.It's easy to use, There's so much more possible, we haven't tried Twitch and YouTube streams and aren't likely to.At less than £30 this seems like a good buy, it does what it claims.There were no dropped frames found and it never got too hot either.Ver másVer menos

Simple to install, plays well with OBS Studio. Records up to 4K. (with a 4K signal)
I've been looking for an updated capture card for a while now. The XIIXMASK capture card came up in my feed and I was very interested in testing it out.I occasionally like to record game footage on my PC, I also like to capture video. As I slowly but surely upgrade my PC to 4K, (currently I'm still using standard HD) This capture card will work as components are updated. Setting up the XIIXMASK capture card is very simple. I am using it exclusively on a PC. While I don't have a console, it would be a simple to run the hdmi output from one, through the capture card, and back out to an HDMI monitor or television. In my case, I've got the card connected to the 3rd monitor in my PC setup, so anything that is displayed on that monitor's HDMI feed I can record. I have an HDMI cable running from my video card HDMI out, into the capture module, then a second HDMI cable from the module output, to the monitor. Finally I connect a USB cable from the module output to a USB 3 port directly on the rear of my PC. I run OBS studio, which is open source and free to download, to capture footage. Inside OBS, if you double click on "Video Capture Device" a window pops up where you can choose your recording source. I click the dropdown menu under the first heading "Device" and pick "USB3 Video" This is the XIIXMASK capture card. The moment I select it, the feed from my monitor appears.Then using the various settings inside OBS, I can choose my resolution, audio source, frame rate and other colour space settings. This review is not a deep dive into using OBS! Let's just say, after a quick installation, the XIIXMASK appears in OBS without any issues. Recording is as easy as clicking on "Start Recording"There's nothing bad to say about this capture card. It works flawlessly, can record 4K if you have a 4K feed that is. It plays well with OBS and is small and robustly built. Definitely worthy of consideration if you're looking for a simple system to capture video for any HDMI source. It's also got some options for Mic and headphone input and can be set up for various streaming recording or live setups. Great little piece of hardware.Ver másVer menos

You will need to power this device to get it working, and a green LED light lets you know when it's active.To use the XIIXMASK video capture card, you'll need video capturing software on your computer. OBS Studio is an industry-standard, free software that you can download from the official OBS website. There might be a slight learning curve with OBS, mainly in learning how to choose the correct settings to capture both your video and audio signals from your game console. Once OBS is properly configured, capturing your gameplay is easy. This is my second time using a video capture card and OBS, and although it went smoothly, I still had to ask Google Gemini AI a few questions to help me remember. YouTube also has many great tutorials that can teach you how to use OBS and capture your video in the best possible format.The XIIXMASK Video Capture card has two HDMI output jacks, which is crucial for gameplay. The first HDMI goes to your computer, where you will see your video game in the OBS Studio software. The second HDMI goes to your television, allowing you to see the game screen on your TV without the OBS Studio window. If you're capturing your gameplay and plan to show your face in a small corner of the screen, the second HDMI output is essential because it allows you to view the game you are playing without any obstructions.Another great feature of this video card is the built-in audio and microphone input jacks. This was extremely useful for me because my old Alienware Alpha R2 computer only has digital audio output and no 3.5mm headphone jack. Because of this, I wasn't able to hear the audio in my games. The built-in audio input allowed me to plug in my 3.5mm speaker cable and hear my game. I don't plan to record my voice in my gameplay captures, but I love that I can plug a microphone into the video capture card and record my voice easily.Overall, I am very happy with this video capture card. The capture quality was good for me, and I also plan to use the card to digitize my old VHS home movies and possibly make computer tutorials by capturing my screen.
