Gun is better than expected. Cups not so much
The gun is amazing. I shot high build Upol 2253 with the 1.7 tip and laid down nice. Then shot enamel with the 1.3 tip and laid down really nice. I ran the fan pattern wide open but did not get a wide pattern. The fluid I kept at under 2-1/2 turns as it really throws out the paint. 30 psi at the gun. The only thing not to like is the cups supplied with the gun. They are not thick (strong) enough to keep from folding up when you put the lid on. It is hard to tell if you have it right until you flip the gun over and have paint running all over the place. Gun=5 stars, cups=0 stars.Ver másVer menos

Cups are very low quality…..
Gun works great….. the cups that came with mine were a 0…. No matter what I tried I could not get the tops to seal. Leaked all over the gun and wasted 40$ of primer. Made a huge mess. Now have to buy more primer and new cups.

Lays paint well, great flow and adjustablity.
These make painting a car a breeze. We were using a 20 gallon compressor. We sprayed a blue with metallic flake with all panels on the car. Then the clean gun with the clear. There is orange peel but we sprayed 3 coats of clear and can buff out the car with denim on a DA sander. Excellent gun and easy to adjust the flow and know it's locked in.Ver másVer menos

Clean before using, sprays great
Great spray pattern, great value. I really like the way this gun sprays. Be sure to clean it before using, it might have residual oil inside from the factory

Faulty gun; too late to return
I bought the gun in mid February but did not get a chance to set it up and try it until mid April. The gun seemed to be ok, but the finish isn't great. There are several spots on the gun where there are fairly sharp edges (most notably around the air horns on each air cap) that could cut you if you're not careful. But I figured that wasn't a huge deal, as long as it worked. Then I hooked up the oil/water trap and gauge to the gun do hooked it up to my air compressor. When pulling the trigger for air it was reading around 35 to 40 psi, but as soon as I pulled the trigger for paint (no paint loaded, just checking operation) the pressure dropped to around 20 psi. Even with the gauge fully open I could not get more than around 20 psi with the trigger fully pulled.I got another gauge that I knew worked and had the same result. I also tried removing the oil/water trap and just going straight into the gauge. Same result. So now it's over 2 months since I purchased the gun, it doesn't not work as it should and I cannot return it.Ver másVer menos

needs some care before first use
the gun is unusable out of the box; it needs a breakdown and compet clean and a bit of filing because u can get cut in the hook inside part; it comes with a thick oil outside and inside, to much grease. even though its like it had a bath of oil, inside i found rust that will transfer on the paint; not a big deal, i clean it, and its a good gun for the money; i give 3 star for the rust. that rust can form everytime when u clean the gun and let it unoiled ( for some people that is not easy to open after every use the gun). and the moisture out of the compressed air will favor rust formation. But overall i dont regret the buy, with e bit of care is a good gun for the money.Ver másVer menos
