Great band but you might need a 2nd one for extra links
I got this 20mm band to replace the one on my Garmin Venu 2 plus, which was too small. This watch band was also too short for my wrist, so I had to buy two of these to borrow extra links from one to extend the other so it would be big enough, but for the price and quality I am so happy. It was fairly easy to install. They give you the tool to remove the pin from the band to remove links, but you'll want a pair of jeweler's pliers because some of the pins get stuck pulling them out, and you'll need something like the jeweler's hammer in the picture with a nylon or wood tip to gently tap the pins back in. You might be able to get away with a punch with the tip covered in electrical tape and a very gentle touch with a regular hammer. Either way you'll need a couple of tools. This did not come with instructions. I removed the pins in the direction of the arrows with the included tool. And tapped them back in gently in the opposite direction.I love the way this band looks and matches my watch. it is very comfortable to wear and I won't have to worry about it irritating my wrist when I sweat like the other bands did. I love the weight of it and despite the cheap looking box I feel this is very high quality.I would definitely recommend this. If you have a large wrist like mine I recommend buying two. I just wish it came with a few extra links and pins by default.Update: after a couple of days the quick release spring bars started regularly popping off and one time the center spring bar in the middle of the watch came off. I replaced these with heavy duty standard 20mm spring bars and it stopped giving me problems. This might not be a.problem with certain model watches but with the Garmin Venu 2 I would definitely recommend picking up a spring bar kit. I picked one up here for under $7. I still love the watch band now that the issues are fixed.Ver másVer menos
