Not tough. Not well supported. Not a good buy. Failed in under 100 days.
I bought the TUF series because I’m not into overclocking and just wanted a reliable board. The motherboard did not make 100 days before it failed. I returned the dead motherboard to ASUS for warranty repair (at my own expense)and got the board back about two weeks later. The recertified board had a note saying, they replaced a failed component. The repaired board did energize, but it failed the RAM check. I tried to work with the Asus support (which forces you to use chat). Miserable experience. The chat constantly disconnects and you have to start over with a new tech. I took pictures of all sorts of different things, submitted them. And I was told that my ticket was escalated. No one ever reached back. No email, no phone calls. So I contacted support again and again. I offered to try to troubleshoot the board on the phone, but no one was interested. They wanted me to ship the board back again for more repairs. I said I really didn’t want to do that, and that I was tired of rebuilding my system over again. They said that they would escalate to level 3, and supervisor, then Level 4. and seek a replacement board. No one ever reached back. Their support is one of those deals where maybe you get lucky and they do actually repair your board. But the term recertified is meaningless. And I think in many cases I think they just expect you to go out and buy another one, to avoid the hassle. But seriously calling something the TUF series and it cannot even make 100 days? I’ve bought a ton of Asus stuff over the years. But they just don’t stand behind the product. I’m hoping this warning helps others so they don’t make the same mistake.Ver másVer menos

Solid Mid-Range Pick! BIOS Fixes Needed (2 Wk Test) / ¡Buena Opción Media! Necesita Ajustes BIOS
Tested with Intel Core Ultra 9 285K for 2 weeks. Pros: Wi-Fi 7 boosted signal vs. my Wi-Fi 6 router, 3x M.2 slots (CPU PCIe 5.0), and easy GPU release lever. Cons: Gen5 SSD slot throttled under load due to weak heatsink, only 8 rear USB ports, and no VRM thermal sensor. Driver install was chaotic—Wi-Fi required 3 failed attempts before MediaTek worked . BIOS 0805 beta fixed early performance issues. Avoid PCIe 5.0 SSDs; use Gen4 for stability. Self-purchased. Evite SSD PCIe 5.0; use Gen4. Comprado por mí.Ver másVer menos

Quality MOBO
Solid motherboard, well made and small form factor with wifi 7. No whining fans on it and has proper cooling with heat sinks.
