Excellent, sturdy product. I'd buy again and again from MountUp
Extremely Rugged & Perfect for Outside Use! A Fantastic Mount!I purchased this MOUNTUP Outdoor TV mount for my bedroom. I didn't need it to be outdoor rated, but I didn't see as many options with as much articulartion and mobility. I have to say, I am incredibly impressed with the build quality and functionality. It’s exactly what I needed for my installation and definitely deserves a full five stars.The Good (and Great!):Built Like a Tank: This mount is incredibly rugged and sturdy. The steel construction feels heavy-duty and robust. I feel completely confident that my expensive 55-inch TV is secure, even with the long extension arm. The waterproof and rustproof claims seem entirely accurate.Excellent Stencil (Mostly): The product came with an excellent, high-quality mounting stencil which made drilling the pilot holes much easier and more precise. It saved a lot of hassle with measurements and alignment.Full Motion Range: The long arm provides a fantastic range of motion, allowing me to angle the TV exactly where I need it depending on the time of day and glare.A Couple of Fixes (Easily Managed):Stiff Joints: Out of the box, the joints were very stiff and difficult to move. This is a minor issue, as it is easily fixable with lubrication. A quick spray of silicone lubricant on the pivot points loosened everything up perfectly, and now it moves smoothly but retains its position well.Stencil Improvement: While the stencil was great, it didn't include a centerline mark, which made calculating the exact center of the mount relative to my viewing area a little more complicated than necessary. A simple printed line would make a great tool even better.Overall Impression:These minor quibbles don't detract from the fact that this is a superior product. The quality and strength are top-tier, essential for an outdoor application. It provides peace of mind that cheaper, flimsier mounts just can't match.
