Good Value! Great Price!
After owning 2 of these chairs for about 6 months, I can honestly say that I have no regrets about this purchase. They look nice, are comfortable and were very affordable. Assembly of the first chair took about an hour and the second chair about 30-40 minutes. I read some reviews where they said it took them 3 hours to assemble. I’m assuming that included a lunch break and a few phone calls to friends and relatives because it simply was not that difficult. Others complained about inferior quality. I contend if they were looking for superior quality then they simply should have “paid up” in the first place. These are very nice chairs for anyone on budget. Mine still look as good as they did 6 months ago and are holding up well. Dollar for dollar, they are an excellent value.Ver másVer menos

No support for small of the back
Somewhat easy to put together. Video helped a lot! Comfortable but needs a pillow to support small of my back. I also wish it went back one more click.

Loving this chair
I love it. The seat felt a tiny hard at first but I am used to it after 4 days. This chair is for small to medium size bodies. I like the way the seat is like a car seat. It curves up at the edges to hold you in. The arm rests are the perfect height. I am hoping it holds up well. It appears to be well made. Comes in 2 boxes. The seat back is in the smaller box.Ver másVer menos

BUYER BEWARE OF INJURY!!!!
I have never written a review of any product I have ever bought but PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. I was sitting in a normal upright sitting position I wasn't trying to recline the back or putting any extra pressure on it and the back literally made a loud pop, folded over backwards and landed me on the floor. I was so stunned! I thought that the recliner mechanism wasn't set into the notch properly and proceeded to try to lift the back of the recliner into the upright position. It flopped backwards again as soon as I let go of it. I decided to unzip the back of the chair to see what was going on and to my utter surprise I discovered that THERE IS LITERALLY ONLY CARDBOARD AND STRINGS SUPPORTING THE BACK! NO WOOD TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE!!!! I contacted Amazon and the person I spoke to (David) was kind and when I told him it had landed me on the floor he asked if I was ok. He gave me instructions on how to return the chair to Amazon for a full refund. I will see how my head and back feel tomorrow to determine if I should call my Dr. after being flipped over onto the floor. I would NOT recommend this to anyone NOT even an enemy! This chair isn't worth the price of a piece of bubble gum much less what they are asking for it. Nor is it worth the possible trip to Urgent Care. JC Home should be ashamed of selling such a product. Who makes a chair with nothing but cardboard and string to support the back of the chair??? Save yourself a literal headache and skip this one.Ver másVer menos

DANGEROUS DESIGN - BEWARE
VERY UNSTABLE. Chair is comfortable, looks good, was a pain to assemble but the base is too small for the chair. When you try to get out of it, it will dump you in the floor, especially in the reclining position. Although I plan on keeping the chair, I will probably change the base so I can get out of it without a struggle. It has a lever on the side to make it recline and straighten up. Personally, I don't like the way it works but I expect that is just a personal preference. It works the way it was designed. In spite of the positive features of this chair, I think you could do better with another design.Ver másVer menos

Nice chair
Cushions on back and seat in the middle could have been more padded. Overall nice chair for the cost.

Great deal - so far
Just had it less than a week, but comfortable and sharp looking. I especially like the lower back lumbar support. For the price I haven't found anything to beat it.Be advised on assembly: You will need an assistant to get enough pressure on the back/seat joint while you align the bolts through the holes. Also on the arms: the broad flat part goes in vertical on the *inside* of the arm frame, that screws in under the top, wide end to the back. With that, assembly is simple and quick. The padding is not the densest it could be; it may not be very durable or last a long time - I'll see. Will try to keep this review updated. The design is remarkably compact and small footprint without sacrificing comfort. The swivel is great for my room layout. But for the price, if I get two years or more out it, I figure I will has gotten the utility I paid for.****Update Nov 2020:Two years to the month later, and the chair is showing wear. The finish on the left arm inside is rubbing off and the the seat padding has compressed a lot; the lumbar support is gone. It is really not comfortable anymore. But for a high use chair of this type I am not surprised. Mechanically the frame and swivel are still fine. Now I got it here on sale for $196 so that's about $8/month so like I said above I got my money's worth. But I will not be replacing it with this model or at this price.Ver másVer menos

Thin padding, small chair, definitely not worth the price.
