This textured pad acts as a comfort for the child for the material is extremely soft. Also, my two children were both more comfortable in their car seat once we bought this pad. As a parent, I felt both children were more secure and safe having an added barrier of cushion propping them up. This pillow like insert has slits for car seat straps and is simply designed to fit around most car seat shells. We have used this product with both our Nuna car seat and our Maxi Cosi car seat and it has been a vital accessory in keeping our kids propped up and comfortable while strapped and buckled in.It’s more than just a comfort luxury in my opinion. I believe it’s helpful in keeping young children properly positioned while riding rear facing. Its easily installed design makes it even easier to remove.
