Great Cartridges, Excellent Value!
These are the cartridges that are used in my waterfall filter that I have in my 20 gallon long turtle aquarium. I think they work very well!! The waterfall filter does require two cartridges though and I just recently got it so when I went to the pet store to get replacement cartridges and saw they were $13 for one box of 3 filters I knew I needed to find another buying option. I was thrilled to find these at under $3 a box! Even though there is a minimum order of 2 boxes I’m still way ahead! I bought 3 boxes for less than I’d have spent on just 1 box! So needless to say, the value is excellent! I also have been very happy with their performance. Turtles are very messy animals, even when they’re babies like mine. Her tank has never been even a little bit cloudy aside from the first 2 days after setting up the tank for the first time, but that had nothing to do with the filter, it was new tank syndrome and once the good bacteria developed it cleared right up and thanks to these filters (and cleaning of course) it’s staying that way. It was suggested to me to replace the filters every 3 weeks, but after a week and a half the cartridges are still working perfectly. At 3 weeks I’ll evaluate again. For turtles replacement will be more frequent, but if you have less messy animals or fish you probably won’t have to do it so often. So overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and definitely recommend 💖Ver másVer menos

TetraFauna ReptoFilter Filter cartridges maintain water clarity
We've been using the filters for a week in our 20-gallon tank for our 10-month-old Red Slider.Previously, he was housed in a 2-gallon enclosure with filtration, but this little Turtle could put out some waste, requiring constant tank cleansing and water changes.After one week, and a 50% water change out, the water is clear thanks to these filters. I plan to change the filters and stick with the filter manufactirers filter, TetraFauna ReptoFilter Filter cartridges.See the difference between the small tank and the 20-gallon tank, which is using the TetraFauna ReptoFilter Filter cartridges.Update April 8, 2026: I replaced the filters today after 10 days. The filter motor was whining and the filters were absolutely full of waste and debris. I changed out the filters and ensured the filter motor was cleaned out. As I said, this little turtle can put out some waste and these filters can absolutely do their job. The tank water is clear, and the motor is humming along.Ver másVer menos

Perfect fit for our rock waterfall filter
These filters are a direct replacement for the filters that our rock waterfall use and they hold up really well considering they are filtering the water for 2 frogs and a very large goldfish. When the water slows down coming out of the waterfall, we just pull these out and rinse them clean and reinstall them. We usually don't have to completely replace them for about 3-6 months. When you first install these you need to rinse them off with cold water to rinse the carbon dust off of them and activate the carbon. I will continue to buy these until we no longer have a use for them.Pros: price, ease of use, last a decent amount of timeCons: comes in a 3 pack (we use 2 at a time)Ver másVer menos

No duran tanto pero si limpian los primeros 15 dias
Son buenos aunque no duran tanto como hubiera pensado, solo tengo una tortuga y tengo que cambiarle el filtro cada semana o a lo mucho cada 15 dias, lo cual para mi es lo mismo que antes ya que lavaba la pecera justo cada 15 o menos
