  Simple installation

  Purchased this for a 2026 Mazda CX-30. It fit well and was easy to install after watching the video. So far, it has remained tightly connected. (We have not gone through a car wash, so we cannot comment on that.). There was an unexpected shipping delay, but it is a great product.Ver másVer menos

  Fits 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric

  I used this item to mount the front license plate to a 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric tow hook, hidden behind the front bumper cover. The quality/thickness of the metal and the powder coated finish are on point. Everything fit perfectly without any modifications, eventhough my car wasn't listed for this item. The only thing I would add would be some thread locker, as vibration does loosen it. If it's allowed to loosen too much, the plate can shift and block sensors. I feel that any similar item would be affected by vibration and this isn't a fault with this item. For referrance, this has been on the car for ~ 2 months, I drive for Lyft and my plate has never come off - even without the thread locker. Also , there are a few different types of thread locker, so be sure your getting the one that meets your needs.Ver másVer menos

  Does NOT fit a C6 Corvette

  Bought this for my Chevrolet Corvette C6 thinking it would be a simple no-drill solution. It’s not.The biggest problem is the spacers are way too short. They don’t bring the license plate holder out far enough to clear the front bumper. There’s no way to install it properly without bending the plates to sit inside the grill area.Because of that, the whole setup looks poorly fitted. It’s definitely not the clean look shown in the pictures. You’d have to rig your own longer spacers or modify it just to make it usable—which defeats the purpose of buying a “no drill” kit.For a product that’s supposed to be made for this car, the fit is just wrong. Poor design and misleading fit claims.Bottom line:Doesn’t extend far enough, doesn’t fit right, and risks damaging your bumper. Not worth it.Ver másVer menos

  Works well, but not sure how secure it is long term. Satisfied a fix-it ticket.

  2023 Porsche Cayenne Platinum edition.We got a humbug and dreaded "fix it ticket" because we didn't have front license plates.We were leaving town at the end of the week and wouldn't be back in time before the fix-it time period expired.Ordered this and it was overnight delivered.I'd say, overall, it works. It definitely satisfied the requirements and when we took it to the police station for sign-off, the police did so without question.We'll probably bite the bullet and take the car to Porsche for a permanent mount when we get back from our trip, but this did what we needed it to do for now, so we're happy.A few things:- The front grill on our car has slats that are flattened (not square) in shape, so the clamps don't have much surface to actually clamp onto. It seems secure enough for now, and I didn't want to keep tightening b/c of risk of cracking the grill slat.- Our front camera is right above the grill so I had to mount this lower on the grill so it wouldn't interfere with the camera view. I could have mounted it off center, but I think that looks odd.Even mounted low, the camera catches the backside of the plate but at least it doesn't beep warnings.Mounted low, I also needed to use the spacer (good this is included) so the bottom of the plate doesn't rub against and scratch the bumper.This looks a bit odd because it makes the plate stick further out in front of the grill and I've already scratched my leg when walking too close in front. Is it better to scratch my leg than have the plate scratch the car? My husband thinks so :o- The mount is made of (what seems to be) a solid and well constructed material.- Everything you need (allen and bolt wrench, screws to mount plate to mount) is included.Overall, very happy it satisfied our immediate needs. Like mentioned earlier, when we return from our trip, we'll take the car into Porsche for them to screw into the bumper for a permanent mount. The car won't be driven while we're away, so all we needed was to get the fix-it ticket signed off before we left. For that purpose, this did its' job with flying colors.Ver másVer menos

  Not the best design for my BMW 535

  I bought this for the front plate of my 2015 BMW 535xi.Not an easy installation for me as the retainers didn't slide easily through the BMW's grill. I'm sure size requirement is mentioned in the product description, if you're the kind of guy who reads these things. You need a little force to get them pushed through. The problem is, they can't be pushed through until you've attached the bolts to the retaining bar, which makes it difficult. And you'll need your own star driver for these bolts as the one in my kit was too big. It's also difficult to get the license plate attached to the frame as there's not much room to hold the nuts. Tbe tools that came in my kid didn't fit these nuts. I'm also uncomfortable with the long bolts being that close to the lower radiator.But I eventually got the plate attached to the car, so it all finally worked out. It's probably easier for people with more mechanical ability than I have.Ver másVer menos
