Good value and well made.
Nice. I like it. Well-built and stylish. Good value. My only critique is that a few places had loose threads hanging, but I was able to easily snip them off with a nail clipper. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Best backpack for grad school!
Gifted this to a friend that hasn’t changed his backpack in AGES. He said it’s absolutely worth it for grad school, and perfect for when he’s also going on short conference trips as well! Size doesn’t look too big but still has plenty of storage for everything he needs for school. More of an earthy tone for sure.Ver másVer menos

Sleek design - zipper problems
I really like this backpack. It has a sleek, simple design, the zippers are super smooth, and it's very comfortable to carry. The laptop compartment is padded and the fabric feels sturdy and substantial. I'm using it for work now, but I'm looking forward to taking it as my personal item on my next trip. However, there ARE a couple things I would change. For example, I do wish it was slightly lighter (the specs on the samsonite website say it's about 2lbs) but it's not as heavy as the OGIO backpack I got from my job (3.2lbs!). The other thing I would probably change is to make the laptop compartment a little thinner and to give the main compartment a little more space, but my laptop is a 14" so that may not be an issue for a lot of other folks. I can fit my laptop, notebook, and a few file folders or a book or something in there if needed. I also didn't love the samsonite logo on the front so I covered it with a button. With those minor details, I would probably rate it a 4.5, but none of it is bad enough to take off a full star.UPDATE: I’ve been using this backpack for about three weeks and I’m starting to experience issues with the zipper on the laptop section busting open. I don’t keep it overfilled and my laptop is small and lightweight, so I’m not sure what the problem is. Updating to 4 stars for now.UPDATE: Well, I'm still a bit frustrated with the zipper issue, but the good news is, If you DON'T use the laptop compartment for a laptop, I don't seem to have a zipper issue. So I put my laptop in the main compartment and then I use the laptop compartment for other things, like loose papers for a meeting, or sometimes and extra shirt for after work, etc. It's kind of annoying to have to do this, and obviously a design flaw of the backpack, but it's so comfortable to carry that I'm willing to use a workaround to solve the issue.Ver másVer menos

Slim laptop backpack
This backpack is slim but it can carry a lot of items. It has a pass through for your carryon bag which every back bag should. I like the small logo as well.I’d say the only con is the zippers jingle when walking around. They are high quality zippers though.

ALMOST PERFECT
The green color is beautiful, subtle (the word samsonsite is not as visible in the green), and seems high quality. I think it's perfect for work and travel. It has all the compartments that I want: side pocket for water bottles/umbrella, two front pockets, and a band in the back to slide on top of a suitcase. However, I think it's a little too long for my height (I'm 5'1) and I have a long torso. It sits right on my butt, so it makes me look like a child, so i'll be returning.Ver másVer menos

Perfect Daily Companion
One of my fav bags I've owned, I've owned several Samsonite bags with my longest lasting 10 years and I have no complaintsThe olive green is a beautiful colour and the stitching is top quality.I will say it's on the smaller end of what I was looking for but it's too good to pass up. The straps are easy to adjust and comfortable. The bottle holder expands to accommodate bottles with slightly wider base. The 2 main compartments are nice and spacious and the 2 smalls ones at the front being are able to hold a good amount of space. My highlight of this bag is the laptop holder. It's got a pound in the main compartment that holds the laptop suspended just before the bottom, to protect the tech from falls and such.Over all very pleasedVer másVer menos
