If you are a DIY type, this is a must have. I replaced a lot of plexiglass panels on doors and this made super easy and professional looking cuts. Such a great piece of equipment that fits right in the.palm of your hand. It has a huge selection of accessories as well. I never felt like it was going to fail on me. It has a adjustable speed motor plus really easy bit change tool.Ver másVer menos

Great little tool for the money
I really love this tool, it works great for all the projects I’ve used it in so far. Couldn’t be happier with it. It seems durable and a great value for the price. Does come with some basic accessories that will get you started. Runs smoothly with not a lot of vibration.Ver másVer menos

Great value. Great to have on hand.
Finally got to use this! I got this a while back since every time I thought "wow, a Dremel tool would be really handy now" I never had one. I used the grinding tool to enlarge an opening in a plastic tub. Then I used the routing bit to cut a square hole in a cabinet for a switch. If you use the routing bit, make sure you use the special collar for it so that the bit stays straight. I had a hard time controlling the bit since it didn't occur to me use the collar and since I've never used a Dremel before. It was easy and intuitive enough for a first-time like me to use right out of the box. This is one of those tools you buy because some day you'll need it, and it'll be nice to have on hand when that time comes. Also, I like that it comes with an assortment of bits and a case.Ver másVer menos

Works as expected, cannot go wrong with Dremel
The Dremel is working great! It came with a variety of accessories that are useful. The manual that comes with the unit is very helpful and easy to understand. The case is of good quality and looks like it will hold up to years of use. I have already completed my first project using several accessories.Ver másVer menos

Works
It heats up quite a bit under heavy continuous use (oddly enough cranking the speed up seems to help cut more before it gets too hot to hold fyi). But otherwise... It's a Dremel, it does what needs doing.

Dremel is The Best
Dremel is the best and most versatile tool you can buy. The one I replaced finally gave out after 30 years of hard use. This one is a little heavier but much more powerful. I hope it lasts like the old one, Be prepared though because the attachments aren't cheap. The ones with this kit are beginner ones and not the most useful.Ver másVer menos

Dremels are the real thing - a solid rotary tool that gets the job done.
Dremel's rotary tools offer real quality. I've used and looked at some of the competition and Dremels are simply better designed and built than anything else I've seen. I used my last Dremel really hard for two decades and literally wore it out. It lasted longer than I had any right to expect. The new 4000 is even better than my original one.Ver másVer menos

Good product though expensive
Though on the expensive end due to branding, it is a great product for carving and everyday normal usage. Powerful motor but do not compare it with bigger motors. Prolonged usage can be exhausting without the extension shaft due to its weight while carving.
