Smells rich , and so many complements

This used to be a great clone fragrance. No longer, sadly
I have been a huge fan of Dossier for years and own many, many bottles of different scents. Their musky oak moss used to be a near perfect replica of Aventus, but this bottle I just received is the worst match of any purchase I’ve ever made from Dossier and is close to unwearable. It smells more like a cheap clone of Virgin Island Water than it does Aventus- sharp and citrusy without any of the mossy, musky tones it should have. This is a supremely disappointing bottle of cologne, and an un-returnable purchase on top of that. I’m going to put this in a dark place and hope a few months of aging helps the balance, but it’s hard to imagine how this absolute mess of a scent could mature into something I would want to leave the house in.I know they are selling quite a lot more bottles these days compared to when I first started dealing with them- I wonder if they are taking short cuts in the production now to get more bottles on shelves more quickly.Fortunately, Armaf and Oakcha both still have very passable clones available. I won’t be buying any more of this Musky Oakmoss. I’d give it zero stars if I could.Ver másVer menos

A tricky One
This smells very nice on me. This is one of those perfumes that is tricky. The smell is very different so it would depend on your body chemistry but I love it and I get tons of compliments when I wear it.

Musky oakmoss is fire exactly like creed aventus
This smells exactly like creed aventus 100 percent all the dossier dupes I've had have been spot on to the ones they are inspired by the ambery saffron was fire the ambery mint wich is a Versace eros dupe was spot on then the Gucci guilty dupe which is fougere pink pepper also spot on now the musky oakmoss spot on I love this smell I'm so happy dossier came to be I was buying designer fragrances anyways but I was allways unhappy with spending crazy amounts for it now I don't have to the longevity is all-day like 8 hours and some the sillage is great if you walk into a room your going to leave a scent trail all up in there and once a few hours have passed it's a nice 2 to 4 foot scent bubble on you the trick is to spray it on your clothes unless your wearing white don't ever spray cologne on white shirts but black or dark colors your fine especially hoodies it will last for days and daysVer másVer menos

2nd time was NOT the charm!
The first bottle I purchased smelled absolutely wonderful!! This second bottle is not so much! It’s a whole lot more feminine and umm um…I couldn’t even get a replacement 🙄

Read Reviews No Return
Should have read the reviews. This is not a great scent and I didn’t notice that it wasn’t eligible for return. Reacts poorly, leaving a more feminine smell after half the notes fall off very quickly. So the difference in opinion on long lasting/short performance are because some notes are left, just not the whole of the original scent. And that scent that lingers is nothing like Creed Aventus.Ver másVer menos

Weak scent and poor longevity
Not worth the money. The scent doesn’t last and fades very quickly.
