  Saved My Son's Foot From Amputation

  These boots saved my son's foot - 5 stars is not enoughI don't normally write reviews but I have to for these. I bought these for my son who works in a heavy industrial facility. A 1,800 lb steel pipe fell about 4 feet directly onto his foot.The boot you see in my photo took the full impact. The toe is torn wide open but the steel toe held and did its job. If he wasn't wearing these, the doctor said it would have been an amputation. As it is he has two broken toes that will heal.Don't hesitate to buy good safety shoes.   Comfort & style!

  So far, these shoes are awesome! Lightweight, looks good, and comfortable fit. As always, get yourself some gel cell insoles for added comfort while working on concrete floors. Also - make sure you get 1 shoe-size bigger than normal when ordering any steel-toed shoes!Ver másVer menos

  Decent Shoes for the Price

  UPDATE: These shoes lasted just under one year and I'm replacing them now because they're falling apart. (Used daily for work in an industrial setting.) I'm happy with them for the price I paid, but I would DEFINITELY recommend buying decent inserts to put in them. See original review...I bought a men's size 15. Usually I need them in a wide, but that wasn't available. When I received them, I was surprised that they were plenty wide enough, almost slightly too much. ...maybe not too wide, but PLENTY of room around the foot in general. However, that turned out to be a good thing. The soles feel very thin and flimsy, and they have no arch support whatsoever. ...flat as a board inside. As a result, I decided to buy some decent inserts to add to them after a couple of days. Those inserts took up that little bit of extra room and they actually fit quite nicely. The first two days I used them (without the inserts), they definitely felt cheap, but they were not uncomfortable. With the inserts, they feel very good. They are much lighter than my previous work shoes (which is good), and they look pretty nice. These are my daily work shoes (dirty factory setting). I don't usually go cheap on work shoes because cheap shoes never last long at my job, but I figured I'd try these out. I'll be thrilled if they last a full year. For the price, I'd recommend them, but be prepared to buy inserts to add in. I've been using them for 2 weeks and I'm happy with them.Ver másVer menos

  Great for the price

  I bought a great pair of insoles and am loving these shoes. They aren't heavy, they're stylish and comfortable. Other steel toes gave me corns and calluses, but these have been great. I've had them for about a month with no complaints AND I'm on my feet all day. Replace the insoles with a high quality one. You won't regret it.Ver másVer menos

  Not as comfy as they look

  While they're a good-looking shoe, well priced and serve the purpose they're not as comfortable as they should be when you're on your feet 12 hours a day. We just added some inserts to help with that.

  Nice shoe? Needed to replace shoe insert for comfort. Pros: style Cons: putting your foot in the heel of the shoes is a bit of a challenge. But once your foot is in the shoe. No problems.Enjoy...

  Both shoes ripped apart top of toes where steel toe starts. Not heavy wear for this to occur just normal wear after 6 months. Poor quality
