thick legs and wide feet approved
At first I was a little disappointed at the heel height since I ordered a similar shoe with a slightly taller wedge. However due to your ankles not being super secure this height is more practical and feels safer.This shoes is very cute and comfortable. I have wide feet and though the shoe does have a narrow appearance, it works! Ample toe box room. I ordered my exact size, as when I sized up on an identical shoe (different brand) I found the slight gap on the heel a bit concerning stability wise.FOR MAXIUM STABILITY YOU SHOULD BE CROSSING THE STRAPS ***BEFORE*** YOU EVEN BRING THEM TO THE FRONT OF YOUR ANKLE FOR THE FIRST WRAP. Trust me, it makes all the difference. Creating an X and the back closes up any space between your heel and the shoe, given you have bothered with the appropriate fit and the gap is minimal. If your feet are sliding forward in the shoe and not touching the back, that is not the proper fit and no lacing technique will fix that.Anyways I have only worn these a couple hours with not too much walking or standing, but at no point of either did I experience discomfort. I ordered another color as well, wish they had more!But!!!!I searched for cotton twill tape (which is what these straps are) because the prior brand I ordered has shorter straps that just were not cute to tie. I ordered this tape to be able to customize the length of my straps. Fortunately this brand had adequate material for the strap and I ended up not needing to install my own. However, you can easily “update” these sandals by buying various colors of the twill tape and color blocking!! This is how I plan to not only expand the match-ability of the shoe with different colored outfits but also go for an even sexier look by having longer lace that go to the thighs ;).So yeah buy these sandals, I don’t think you’ll regret it!Bonus: Tie the bow to the outside of your leg, not behind.
