  THEY RUN SMALL

  These are good sneakers. I can't agree they are "slip-ons" because they have more support than a slipper. The inner elastic keeps sneakers giving more support than the usual sneakers that are actually kind of flimsy after break-in period.I will buy more of these BUT my first order had to be returned because the sneakers were way too small compared to my other wide Skechers of same size. I had to go up a full wide size to get a pair that fit. The first pair were going to cost a few toenails due to very tight fit. I've bought Skechers Vigor 2.0s with perfect fit for years but that same size in new shoes was brutal. A good point is that my Vigors get flimsy after a few months and these new Skechers will be betterVer másVer menos

  Slip on and walk the walk

  The shoes exceed my expectations. It had been a while since I've bought a pair of Skechers, due to the last pair not fitting well and the quality. These Skechers have the best of both worlds, they are have both laces for tieing and they are also slip on. You can keep them tied to the exact tightness you want and not have to tie them again for a while. They are made of excellent quality materials, the color is better than the picture leads on. The arch support is exactly where it should be. Overall they are very nice and I see me putting plenty of miles on them.Ver másVer menos

  Very comfortable and easy to "slip-on"

  As someone who struggles with bending down and hates having to retie shoes every time, these have been a total game-changer. I used to rely on a long shoehorn for all my footwear, but this design makes things so much easier. After a quick bit of shifting, my feet slip right in, and the shoes are incredibly comfortable.   No good

  The sport shoes were relative fine , but are a little expensive for the quality of the product. I ask for wide sport shoes and on the box didn't fine something visible that confirm it, just says the size. But trying it I realize that is not wide . The reason I didn't return those is because,it is going to take long time to get the real size. Sometimes is better going to the store specially when we are buying shoes.Ver másVer menos

  Jury still out.

  Not quite sure what to make of these shoes. The one and only reason I got them was for the slip-in feature. My first impression when I opened the package was not good at all. I was hit smack in the face with an absolutely horrible smell! I can't even really describe it, but it was definitely an overwhelming hot plasticy smell. I immediately took them outside to air out so I didn't stink up the house! I had to leave them for 2 full days for the smell to dissipate. Not a good start.I had a bit of a problem getting them to just slip-on. The tongue kept sliding forward and bunching up. I tried tightening and loosing the shoestrings to no avail. I also found that using a shoe horn helped immensely, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the slip-in feature. I will keep experimenting, but so far the slip-in feature is not all it's cracked up to be.The shoes themselves are a decent fit, and pretty much true to size. The left shoe doesn't feel quite right, and is not as comfortable on the bottom of the foot as I would prefer, but it may improve after breaking them in. The right shoe feels a bit short, and my big toe is a bit cramped. And yes, I am wearing the correct size. A couple of years ago I went to a specialist shoe store and they informed me I had been wearing the wrong size for decades. They had me move up one size larger, and I have done so ever since. One of my issues has always been getting shoes on the narrower side. Most "medium" or standard width shoes are a bit wide for my narrow feet. These shoes are a good width for me, but if you have wider feet, I think they will be tight.The shoes are heavier than expected. Probably twice as heavy as the ones they are replacing. That can be good or bad depending on how well they hold up over time. My old pair (not Sketchers) lasted a good 10 years!Parts of the uppers on these shoes do not appear to be made of heavy duty material, but seem to be made of plastic instead! At least that's what it feels/looks like. I am concerned they are not built robust enough to last for years. Unfortunately, only time will tell on how good the construction is for longevity.They look good, as I always prefer the black on black (or black on dark grey) style. I got these on sale, so I was happy with the price. With the issues I have been having with the shoes, I think I would have returned them if I had paid full price. As it is, I decided to take a chance on them getting more comfortable with usage, and hopefully figuring out how to get the slip-in feature to work better. As of this review, my thoughts on the shoes are still a work in progress, and the jury is still out on the results.
