  Definitely recommended!

  About a year ago my husband thought he was doing me a favor when he put my favorite cutting board in the dishwasher. When the wash cycle finished what remained was a pile of wooden blocks!Good cutting boards are expensive and need to be able to take a lot of abuse (dishwashers not withstanding). I have used this one for about a year now and it has been as good a chopping block as any I have used. It is substantial and has no problem staying in place and the acacia wool is attractive and forgiving. I like the fact that it has indentations in the side to function as handle that make it easier to move when needed.FYI : all you need to clean a solid wood cutting board is white vinegar followed by food grade mineral oil.Ver másVer menos

  Best board I have ever used and I am a retired chef.

  Being a retired chef, I was looking for the 'last cutting board I will ever buy'. Well this is it. It is absolutely beautiful. The quality is fine craftsmanship. The size is exactly what I wanted. I cut everything on it with razor sharp knives. It doesn't dull the knives and the end grain is self-healing. It still looks as good as the day I bought it. So easy to clean. Just a simple wipe with an occasional oiling. Fits perfect on my counter. It is heavy duty at it's best. Get yourself some wide mouth jar replacement gaskets (or use a towel underneath) and will have unsurpassed stability. It never slides around.Ver másVer menos

  Terrible quality great cutting board

  We have had this cutting board since early November so about 2 months and it already started to not only crack but rip apart from both sides.. it's a great thick heavy cutting board but the production is lack luster which probably caused the separation. We have taken great care of the product, it has never been dropped or left in liquid. I have had cheap cutting boards last me longer unfortunately because I really do love this board especially for the price.Ver másVer menos

  Affordable, functional, and stylish.

  Got this as a gift for my mother to replace her old plain wood cutting board.It was like going from a Ford Focus to a Mercedes S Class.The wood grain is very visually appealing and looks much nicer than the old cutting board. The thickness creates a more premium feel to the whole experience as well. For the price, you really can't do much better.Ver másVer menos

  Good but some quality issues

  Heavy, good finish and nice cutting board but it's bowed so it makes it hard to cut on.

  This cutting board is pretty but most of all functional by my sink. I purchased feet for it as getting wet is a problem by the sink; I’m not that careful.I use Boos cutting board oil & conditioner on the board about bout once a month. If you don’t want to maintain the cutting board, I would suggest not buying it. With the conditioner, water beads & makes it easy to clean. If the board starts to get dry or signs of drying, oil & condition before schedule. It takes a long time to “season” so to speak.The smell. I had a custom cutting board made & it smelled like the guys shop, glue, etc. after oiling & conditioner, it went away the same with this cutting board.I highly recommend this cutting board, so much character and the feet make it easy to move.Ver másVer menos

  Coloration is a bit chaotic, but it's massive and durable!

  I wasn't 100% convinced by this board on arrival, it was slightly warp and the coloration is so varied that it is off putting, but after using it for a few months I am very happy with it. The slight warp has resolved itself, this thing is heavy and stable. the coloration is still not my favorite, but the end cut wood is proving to very durable, and an occasional oil treatment does give it a nice sheen. It is proving to be quite durable against nicks and cuts. It has a substantial drain, though I have only used it for non meat use so far. I would buy this again and would gift this.Ver másVer menos

  Stunning and efficient

  Absolutely beautiful product, amazing performance. As long as you buy a food-grade mineral oil to oil it, it should keep in good shape (something you have to do with any wooden cutting board). Really stunning product. Makes the kitchen look so bougie.

  Solid base for chopping

  Beautiful workmanship. Very thick and has a large working space. One side with groves to catch any liquid overflow making less mess.
