  High-end look, moderate price. Great value!

  Great value! I purchased from 3 different sellers and these are by far the best quality of the 3. Nice, beefy fabric with high-end hand for very nice draping. Haven't laundered so no feedback to offer. They are full blackout. Tab back or pocket for hanging. Purchased the light beige which is more of a cool grey/stone/taupe color than a warm brown/beige. Also purchased navy, lovely deep blue. Hoping they keep the cold out and heat in this winter. Tricky to iron but once you get all the wrinkles from shipping smoothed, they hang very nicely. If you want high-end look for moderate price, these are winners!Ver másVer menos

  Beautiful Curtains

  These curtains are beautiful and were very easy to hang up. They do not completely block out all light and I prefer it that way. I would say they’re room darkening curtains. They came out of the package mostly wrinkle free, only creased at the folds. They would have looked fine if I left them up that way, but I used a steamer and got those right out and now they look even better. They’re very soft, high quality, thick, lovely color, and exactly what I was hoping for.Ver másVer menos

  Nice 'blackout' room curtain for price

  Nice 'blackout' room curtain for price: medium weight with silky, soft smooth texture-although not true blackout during direct morning sunlight. Although stitching at top of curtain visibly displays blackout threading used in creation of this fabric, when curtain is hung in place-further from 'up close' view-this "stitching" is hardly noticeable. These curtains have well made curtain back tabs, which I use for hanging. I recommend steaming the wrinkles out once panels are hung for a nice 'taylored' look. I had to purchase a separate blackout liner for a 'total' sun-blocking effect.Ver másVer menos

  Blackout / Thermal Curtains

  We purchased the 70 x 84 inch curtains as we have a 112 inch wide living room window. And these curtains are great. We hung them by the tabs and they are easy to move on the rod. They block so much light that way as well. Within minutes of hanging them, we could feel the difference in temperature in the room, too. It was July in South Florida when we put them up.   Good curtains for the price

  RECOMMENDATION:Thumbs up – Can’t beat these for the price.THE GOOD:1. These look good if you like cotton-style curtains.2. These are room-darkening shades – not blackout shades even though they are called that. I would estimate that they block out around 85%-90% of the incoming sun which is what we were looking for (they are not as dark as the ads on Amazon show. There are not a lot of choices for room darkening shades, and we were happy to find these.3. The drapes are a single piece of cloth (no lining) which is fairly thick. The edges are folded over and stitched as you can see in the photos.4. The stitching is pretty strong – tested it and could not break it.5. These have a rod pocket or you can use the back tabs. We used drapery hooks that we inserted through the stitching at the bottom of each of the back tabs, and that worked well.6. The top of the curtain is 3” (from the top of the curtain to the bottom of the back tabs), which can be a useful measurement when you are looking for drapery hooks.THE BAD:1. You are going to need to iron the curtains before you hang them if you don’t want any wrinkles. I have never seen curtains that did not have the be ironed first (no matter what the ads say) and these are no different.Ver másVer menos

  Good buy for the money but......

  Purshased 42" x 54", light beige. I generally like these curtains after I resolved the initial problem of a terrible chemical odor. The curtains are made of a thick and durable 100% polyester. I noticed a chemical smell in them so I washed them in washer with regular Tide. It took most of the odor out but some remained so I washed them a second time using cold water and 2 cups baking soda, no soap, and then a double rinse. I put them on air dry because I was afraid heat might activate any odor. They dried nicely and when I rehung them the odor was gone. They wash nicely and dry quickly and are easy to hang. The light beige is not completely room darkening but I did not expect them to be since they are not lined. However, they do a very good job for an unlined light colored curtain. I think a dark color would provide more room darkening. I don't think any unlined , light colored curtain would do any better than these and I am pretty satisfied with how dark they do make the room. I have horizontal blinds hung behind them which helps. Also, it would help when ordering light colors to order double the width which will result in more curtain within the window space. I think these are are a good buy for the cost. I would have rated them a 4 had it not been for the chemical odor I had to resolve before using them.Ver másVer menos

  These are great and affordable!

  I just bought a house that had those VERY old roll up shades that are finicky to handle on my gorgeous front window. I chose to do away with shades all together and only use these curtains. They're wonderful to use as decoration, but also great when I want privacy....we just take the tie off of them. They didn't have any strange smells like black our curtains I've had in the past, and they do an excellent job blocking out light. I've gotten so many compliments and I truly do love them! We bought 4 (2 panels in each pack....so now we have 8) and I will buy more for our other rooms.Ver másVer menos

  Not even remotely close to blackout curtains. Material has a nice look and feel. But without a doubt advertised for the wrong purpose.

  They really are room darkening curtains!

  We have a west facing window. The sun blazes in all afternoon until sunset. Killer on the eyes! We tried cellular blinds. Still too bright. We put up these curtains 2 years ago. No more need for sunglasses in the living room! The room is now dark in the middle of the sunniest afternoon so we can watch tv and actually see the colours on the screen. We need to turn on the lamp to read when these drapes are closed. The fabric is lovely. A smart, stylish choice if you have sun blazing in!Ver másVer menos

  Blocks the hot afternoon sun

  We put them up on a northwest window and they block the hot afternoon sun so our front roomis much cooler.

  Not blackout curtains

  I like them, the quality is good and the light beige color is pretty in sunlight. However, they are NOT blackout curtains. They make the room darker, but let maybe 40% of the light inside my room even if I have a blind behind the curtains. Shipping was super fast!Ver másVer menos

  I am editing this original post and taking away stars, after a good sunny day they probably keep out about 60% of the light. Definitely not blackout.Original reciew - I got the beige and they look great but are definitely not blackout. I would say they keep out 80% of the light.Ver másVer menos
