Dark Grey: Excellent room darkening panels for an excellent price
I've bought many Deconovo panels in various colors and have always been pleased with the quality. These were just as high quality.Room DarkeningThese are excellent room darkening panels (true blackout panels are fully lined and cost quite a bit more) and the price is excellent for the quality. The fabric is thick and heavy. They keep my living room very dark, for watching tv or gaming. I selected dark grey and the color is close, though a bit lighter than I expected. See pics of my actual panels (brighter with the camera flash on). Once hung, they look darker.CoverageAll my windows are bigger than standard and I also have a bay window in my living room - so I need a lot of coverage. I ordered two packages of the 63" panels for the bay and one package of 84" panels (total of six panels). I probably only needed three panels for the bay window, but since these come in a set of two panels I went with a fuller look. I love that these come wider than standard panels: 52" means I don't have to buy as many panels as other brands.Tabs Or PocketThese also have a new design I've never seen before. The panel can be used as a rod-pocket OR as a tab top. This is wonderful! My bay window has a very wide diameter rod and I was concerned rod pocket wouldn't fit. These actually fit due to a generous hem allowance, but it's nice to have the tabs if you want a different look.PricingDeconovo has other panels available that look just like these with the same measurements but at a lower price. The difference is the WEIGHT. If you look under the Product Information at the item weight, you can see that these panels weigh more than others they offer (ounces per item). High quality, thick.
Needed a curtain set to separate a large area of the house as a room divider. These fit the bill perfectly.They’re very soft and thick, almost like a thick bedsheet, and they completely block out the light from either side. The only reason there’s light at the top of the curtains in my photos is that I needed to use a wraparound curtain rod (which juts out from the wall a few inches) to make it so the curtains wouldn’t rub up against the stairway railing. I wasn’t too concerned about the curtains completely blocking out all light - I just didn’t want them to be see-through for privacy purposes. However, if you are buying these to block light, they work very well against indoor lighting. Cant speak to how they’d fare in direct sunlight, but I imagine even in a direct beam of sunlight, very little of it would get through just because of the thickness.My photos show the curtain from both sides, with the lights turned on from the opposite side of the curtain in each photo. Keep in mind that there was much less light than it appears in the photos - my phone took long exposures so that the photos weren’t too dark to see anything.The only downside is that the curtains are slightly wrinkled, which is to be expected when shipping a fabric item like this, but it’s not too distracting and is easily fixed with a steamer.Also giving a shoutout to whoever decided to make dual curtains in these exact dimensions, with a rod pocket / back tabs, in this color, and with the blackout feature. Took me forever to find these here but I’m glad I don’t have to use a grommet curtain.Update: added a photo of the curtains from the lighted side after steaming them to get the wrinkles out.Ver másVer menos

Great Value!
These are great! Really thick, really darken a room. I love that they’re so inexpensive and come with two panels. It’s hard to describe the fabric but they’re silky soft and amazing quality for such a good deal. I’ve got these in almost every room of the house in multiple colors (you can see each color in the images - dark grey, navy blue, and greyish white). Darker colors obviously work slightly better at blocking out the light, but really all of them perform really well. (If you’re looking for sheets to match the dark grey color, the dark grey Sonoro Kate sheets are a perfect match and also a really good quality for a great price.)If you want to work out all the wrinkles right away you can throw them in the dryer (which I did with another set), but honestly over time the few wrinkles that come from them sitting folded in their packaging work themselves out over time. They have two hanging options which is nice as you can get the particular look you want - you can either put a curtain rod all the way through it so they are more “scrunched” when you open them, or you can put the curtain rod through the back tabs so they are more “folded” when you open them (which is my preferred method). They also come with a matching Velcro band if you’d like to tie them out of the way while they’re open. Overall, if you’re looking for a nice, inexpensive set of curtains that don’t look like bedsheets and effectively block out light, buy these.Ver másVer menos

Not as described
These were some nice curtains that seem to be good quality. However, had to return them because the shade was a lighter grey than the picture.

Works great dark colors
Work great. They darken the room. Sun light gets around them but not through them.

Terrifyingly Dark
When they say blackout, they MEAN blackout. I have never experienced such utter and complete darkness in my life. It was terrifying yet impressive. I had these in my room and once I turned the lights out for the night my room instantly became a dark void. These curtains can block out the industrial-grade floodlights of the building behind my house. They're seriously impressive. The fabric is high quality and really soft. The color is really nice too. I ultimately ended up returning these curtains and purchased slightly thinner ones because I couldn't handle their sheer power and wanted just a little bit of outside light in my room while I slept. These are really great curtains, tho. If you find comfort in the depths of darkness, then these curtains are definitely for you. Great quality and super strong light blocking all for a nice price.Ver másVer menos

42X54 measurements are off
Good quality, keeps room much darker than blinds alone. The material isn't the most luxurious, but the curtains look better than what you'd find at Walmart for the same price. The problem is, these measure 51 inches tall, which is a shame, because 54' would have been the perfect length. As it is, the curtains let a little light in at the bottom of the window.Ver másVer menos

Good darkening curtains.
Made well and stitched well. Lovely fabric and texture. They do the job keeping the light out. I have them hung over horizontal blinds and keep the light out that the blinds don't completely. Very clever offering two ways to hang them - I am very happy using the back tabs! Great product and price point.Ver másVer menos

Good quality fabric and works well at blocking light
Dry happy with these. Nice soft fabric that drapes well. Not too thin or too stiff, just right. Looks elegant. Keeps light out well, especially since they have backstabs instead of grommets. Very happy with this purchase.

It did not block out light entirely
The curtain on the left is my current black out curtains and big difference with the ones I purchased. I loved the color and smooth texture of the fabric. The quality of stitching was not bad not straight on certain areas though. The width is 42" not 52" as I ordered. I didn't notice any difference in the blocking of sound either. The items arrived on delivery date as promised which was really great. Have to return items.Ver másVer menos
