  Warm coat!

  Great warm coat. Like northface terra peak model more. This one made with real down so is very warm but sometimes feathers poke through coat fabric. Love discontinued red color though and definitely is awesome coat. I own several northface coats and they have great quality. They run expensive but if you get on sale are worth it.   It appeared to be a 'knockoff'.

  This Northface jacket diid not have the correct LOGO on it. I noticed it the minute I opened it up. It appeared to be a rubbertype cutout which looked like it would peel right off or not withstand one washing. Read more

  Disappointed - repeated fabric durability issue

  I really like the look, warmth, and fit of the North Face Aconcagua 3 jacket, which is why I ordered it again after returning my first one. Unfortunately, both the original jacket and the replacement developed tiny pinholes in the outer fabric within a very short period of normal use, with down filling beginning to show through the shell. This doesn’t appear to be wear-and-tear or snag damage - the holes are very small and appear in multiple places, suggesting the outer fabric may be too thin or defective. For a jacket at this price point and from a brand like The North Face, I expected better durability. It’s a comfortable and warm jacket, but I can’t recommend it based on this repeated quality issue.
