  Made My 20 Mile Hike a Success!

  Literally 4 days before a 20 mile hiking marathon, I ordered these shoes because the 2 pairs of hiking boots were giving me blisters and hurting my feet, even after "breaking them in". I've bought the Salomon Speedcross shoes 3 other times but worn the tread down.I had 2 days to wear them before the hike and it's the best choice I made. No blisters and minimal foot fatigue. My feet did get wet but that's because we had to walk through mud and flooded creeks. Most importantly the traction was awesome. I didn't slip like most other hikers.I'm a fan and will continue to purchase these Salomons.Also, my feet tend to swell after 10 miles and the toe area allowed room for that.I think they look great too! Definitely worth the money. I couldn't have got through this hike without them.They were also easy to wash after the hike and didn't get stinky! They dried fairly fast in the sun!Ver másVer menos

  Best for dry, rocky trails!!!!

  This shoes are amazing!!!!! Fits like a glove! You don’t want to take them off! Good to go out of the box! Can’t believe it took me so long to find this shoe! I tried almost all the trail running shoes out there! True to size with enough room for a more cushion socks! I wore them with zero cushion socks! The traction is great! This shoe may look heavy but feels lite on the trails! ! Stable and good grip!!!   My very favorite shoes for hiking and travel

  I don't know how many of these I've bought over the last decade. I currently own 6 in 3 different versions. I love that they come in fun colors as well as more subdued colors. They have great support and the fit is consistent and true. If I see these on sale I always get a pair whether I need them or not, because eventually I will. These are fantastic trail runners and hikers, but they are also fantastic for daily wear. I lived in both Alaska and the Seattle area for 30 years and these are better on wet, hilly sidewalks than any of my boots! The grip is amazing wet or dry. These are also my fave shoes for site-seeing in places like Europe. The pavers and cobbled stone walkways are no problem for these shoes. We've hiked in the Alps and climbed spiral staircases in castles and these kept us sure footed. They are worth the price but the price is usually pretty steep. It shouldn't stop you from getting them, but you'll love them so much that sale hunting becomes necessary.Ver másVer menos

  Built for the trails and training

  I bought these for my wife who does a lot of trail running and she loves them. They have held up well and she says they feel amazing and fit perfectly. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

  Comfortable... But

  Update (June 30th Hiked once weekly) I enjoy the confidence these shows give me when traveling down steep inclines and includes with loose gravel. They clean up easily after use and feel like gloves for my feet. Not water proof since there's no rubbery or other material to prevent water entry into the shoes.Ok I've only worn these once since buying them. They took me through mud, up gravel and loam and on asphalt. I like how they seem to hug my feet. I gives me a feeling of confidence and comfort. They look good and feel good. Size are true.   Appena arrivate👌Perfette!!! Vestibilità ottima e buona tenuta del piede. Buon ammortizzamento nel tallone e suola con un giusto grip. Confermo che avendo una taglia 37 di piede la misura 38 2/3 veste perfetta lasciando le punta delle dita libere di muoversi.   True to size - order your regular size.

  I read the reviews and everyone was suggesting to order smaller than regular size. I am normally a size 7 and amazon was recommending a size 7.5. A bit confused, i went with amazon's recommendation. They were too big. Returned and ordered a size 7 and they are perfect. So I don't understand all the reviews suggesting to order a smaller size....The shoe itself is amazing. Very comfortable.Ver másVer menos

  Der beste Schuh für Trail und Gelände – Wie eine zweite Haut!

  Ich habe mir den Salomon Speedcross für meine Wanderungen und Läufe im Gelände geholt und bin absolut begeistert. Wer Salomon kennt, weiß, dass die Schuhe eine super Qualität haben, aber der Speedcross übertrifft meine Erwartungen im Gelände noch einmal.Passform & Komfort:Der Schuh umschließt den Fuß perfekt. Das Quicklace-Schnürsystem ist einfach genial – einmal kurz ziehen, das Band in der kleinen Tasche an der Zunge verstauen und man muss sich die ganze Tour über keine Gedanken mehr um offene Schnürsenkel machen. Er fällt salomontypisch etwas schmaler aus, daher habe ich ihn (wie bei meinen Sportschuhen üblich) eine Nummer größer bestellt. Er sitzt wie angegossen, drückt nirgends und ich hatte von Tag eins an keine einzige Blase.Grip & Sohle:Das absolute Highlight ist das Profil. Die groben Stollen beißen sich förmlich in den Untergrund. Egal ob matschige Waldwege, nasses Gras, Geröll oder steile Trails bergauf und bergab – man hat extrem sicheren Halt und rutscht überhaupt nicht weg. Für asphaltierte Straßen ist er wegen der weichen, griffigen Gummimischung nicht gemacht (da würde sich das Profil zu schnell abnutzen), aber im Gelände ist er unschlagbar.Material & Gewicht:Der Schuh ist erstaunlich leicht, wodurch man auch auf längeren Touren keine schweren Beine bekommt. Das Material ist sehr robust, hält einiges aus und lässt sich nach einer Schlammschlacht super einfach wieder saubermachen. Zudem bietet er trotz der Leichtigkeit eine tolle Stabilität im Knöchelbereich.Fazit:Für mich der perfekte Schuh für sportliche Wanderungen, Trailruns und Spaziergänge abseits der befestigten Wege. Er gibt super viel Sicherheit im Gelände und sieht dabei auch noch klasse aus. Wer einen verlässlichen Schuh mit brutalem Grip sucht, macht hier absolut nichts falsch.
