I settled on this jewelry box based on the number of positive reviews and the fact that it had a zipper closure versus a snap which I think could break so much easier.The company offers many nice colors and I went with the beige since it is a neutral color. This item is a graduation gift for my son's girlfriend. I chose an item that was simple, practical and easy to bring along to keep her beloved jewelry secure while traveling. The jewelry box itself is a good size offering ample room for necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. The inside is a soft felt like fabric. You can store several pairs of earrings on the hinged panel. When you flip the earring panel down, the necklace storage is revealed. There is a small hook for each necklace which then can be tucked in the pocket for safekeeping. You may be able to use this area for bracelets as well. The bottom part of the jewelry box can store all of your rings along with your other trinkets. The 4 section divider can be removed to allow more room for larger sized jewelry. The outside is a smooth faux leather that is perfect for personalization. The jewelry box zips closed which should last longer than a clasp if you are using on a daily basis. I feel that the zippered jewelry box can keep your jewelry more secure should any of them become loose during transit. Other jewelry boxes that I've read reviews about that have a snap don't last with prolonged use. I used Cricut brand HTV to personalize it which adhered very well. Small handheld heat press on low temp. Place butcher paper on top and press at least 3 times for 10 seconds each. For the 4th and last press, remove butcher paper and move the press around the image for another 5 seconds. Do not leave the press in one place for too long. Wait for HTV to cool down before peeling.
