Great value for the price
I bought this for an affordable beater watch to wear to my blue collar job. I swapped the bracelet for a rubber strap and have been quite pleased with it. Elegant, Simple, and Classy
I almost returned the watch when a brilliant idea came to mind—why don’t I just replace the somewhat chintzy bracelet with a leather one? So I did, and it won me over. The case is finished nicely and I really enjoy the real blue dial with the sapphire crystal hovering above it. Like I said, bracelet rattles and feels insignificant, but I don’t think that’s a reason not to buy this watch, especially at the $137 sale price I bought it for. The bracelet wasn’t a hair puller and was still comfortable. However, I would love to see the Seiko Essential line with some leather strap options for those who want to ditch the bracelet without having to pay an additional price.
