  Good Stuff

Giving this 5 stars but that doesn't mean it's perfect or amazing! It just means I like it and that being said here what I like about it.They both have a nice scent that isn't heavy or overly strong. The scent doesn't stick around afterwards, doesn't clash with anything you might use , ie perfumes, cologne, hair products..The shampoo bar has a nice lather. It also cleans the hair very nicely. It can dry my hair out a bit if I shampoo to frequently. I try to only shampoo 2-3 times weeklyThe conditioner is interesting. It seeps oil while sitting and waiting to be used on the next wash day . In fact it oozes oil see last photo of oil seepage in conditioner bar. None of the other condition bars from Kitch that I've purchased have ever done this so I'm not sure if it's just this bar or if this particular conditioner bar just does that due to the type of oil in it. It is rather oily when I use it, and I can't let it sit no more than a 1-2 minutes at most in my hair after shampooing before rinsing it out. The conditioner when used in this traditional way of applying after shampooing does take extra long to rinse it out. And if I should not get it rinsed well my curls go flat and my hair gets stingy and grundgy looking. What I sometimes do as an alternate way of washing, I'll wet my head and rub the conditioner on first, massage it into my hair and scalp well and let it sit on for 4 or 5 minutes then I use the shampoo bar on top of the conditioner then rinse it all out at once. This works like a all-in-one and it doesn't dry my hair out or leave it grundgy looking. It drenched my curls and helps it stay looking fuller longer.I've now been using this particular Kitch bar shampoo and conditioner for a couple months (they last a long time). As far as helping with hair loss or hair growth, well I am seeing less fall out. I have been getting new hair growth on a good sized balding patch on the side of my head near my temples, but I have also been doing other home remedies as well as managing my stress and eating a better diet. It could be a combination of all the things and I'll take it as a win.I do recommend this shampoo and conditioner combo. 🍀Ver másVer menos

Works great with midback hair length

I have been having a problem with my hair being dry on the ends and oily at the roots for a while. I used the tea tree shampoo and coconut oil conditioner for the 1st time today. The tea tree shampoo smells nice and I could feel right away how clean my hair felt once i rinsed it out. The conditioner smells wonderful and left my hair soft. I have a hair length of around my mid back, it did take a few minutes getting it in my hair, but no more difficult than regular shampoo especially after how clean and shiny my hair was once washed and dried. The bars of shampoo/conditioner did not dissolve in size, and the shampoo lather was great. I like that there's not so many chemicals in the products, like others. I have naturally curly hair and it looks great; it's shiny, was easy to comb through, no knots, and is not weighted down with residue from other hair products. My hair looks, smells, and feels great. I would definitely recommend.Ver másVer menos

Gentle scent, nice clean and condition

I was skeptical, having already tried other shampoo bars which cleaned but left hair feeling dried out and brittle, and bar conditioners that didn’t leave hair soft at all. They arrived today so I had to try them out! I didn’t realize they were white tea and mandarin scented, I don’t usually like white tea but these smelled really nice and like bergamot (which I guess they are calling mandarin). The shampoo lathered nicely and worked really well to clean long fine hair. I didn’t have hair quite wet enough at first and needed to add more water but once I did this it worked great lathering with hands or using bar directly for harder to reach places. Made a lot of bubbles. Didn’t take much product to make a lot of lather using hard city water with no filtration. Gave a nice gentle tingle feeling while lathering which made it feel cool and clean on scalp. Rinsed out well and easily. The conditioner also smelled nice and like citrusy bergamot, not a heavy scent at all just slightly sweet. The bar didn’t really lather but I could feel my hands were more slippery so I just ran them over scalp and sides and used the bar on the ends where it usually needs more conditioning. It didn’t really feel like it did anything at first but I let it sit a moment and then finger combed my hair. Finger combing helped a lot to coat the hair throughout and then I let it sit longer. After sitting for a while the conditioner also had a mild tingle which let me know it’s work was done. When rinsed, hair was very slick and smooth under the stream of water. After towel drying, hair was easier than usual to comb out and after blow drying could see hair was more smooth than usual. Normally have wiry curls around ears which I have to oil to tame: They were noticeably less wiry and curly after just one wash and didn’t require oil to stay down.Pleasantly surprised overall and interested to see if hair will continue to smooth out over time. Not sure how it will perform under heavy cleaning conditions, like after camping or post-workout, but seems like a good product for daily use!Ver másVer menos

  Pleasant Shampoo and Conditioning Bars

I like this shampoo and conditioner. I can't say that I noticed a big difference in my hair and that it is noticeably thicker but it has a pleasant scent and maybe with time I'll be able to see a difference. My only criticism is storing the bars after use. The conditioner bar is very oily and I slide both of the individual bars into zip lock plastic bags.Ver másVer menos

Really liked 2 - not the other 2

I have slowly been trying to replace anything in plastic that I am able. Shampoo and conditioner is my current focus. I got this sampler to try some out and see how it functioned and how my hair felt after. I read a really good review of several different "bar" hair products and Kitsch was highly rated along with two others. Search up Organic Beauty Lover if you are interested in the full article and comparison. It's really thorough and the Blogger is a great resource for all things clean beauty. She's on all the socials too.Ok - back to the point - The Rice Water set is a FOUR STAR product and something I will likely buy in full size. The shampoo lathers pretty good with patience and the conditioner is superb! It melts easily though so you gotta be sure you have a way to keep it away from the moisture and not in above 80 degree weather. Or put it in your soap holder or something if you are travelling. My hair is soft and clean after using any of the 4 options but the rice water are my favorite. The other set has a nice smell but the shampoo is very difficult to get going and the lather is not there. I know that clean shampoo doesn't foam as much. Very used to that but this is one just isn't for me. The conditioner is the same. It's super slippy on the tub floor believe me! I tried it on my legs for shaving and I was not safe in there afterwards! hahaha But, alas, it's not that softening for my hair and takes forever to soften up as well. There was a tip on the blogger site that mentioned adding harder conditioning bars to a pot of boiling water to get it going. No thanks. Way too much work when there are other products that are nice and easy.Ver másVer menos

A dry Shampoo that is a hair conditioning product.

This is a great shampoo, this is a solid shampoo product. It treats my scalp and hair healthy, shiny, and works to keep my hair thick. This product also helps with regrowth and baldness. It can be used on men or women.

  Works great on straight hair

I love how this shampoo lathers and rinses really clean. The conditioner works well, leaves my straight hair super silky. But the conditioner smells really, really strong. Like, my whole bathroom really smells like it coconuts even after a couple of weeks, and it leaves the smell on my hair so much I can smell it all day. I like it though, so I just use a different conditioner afterwards to not smell it.Ver másVer menos

  Love love

After 2 months of using, I have to say that this made my hair soft and I never had an itchy scalp! The conditioner also worked wonders for my hair too and its still not finished coz we only shampoo every other day. We are family of four and it lasted us for almost 2 months and I think this is more gentle and saved us more money than those bottled onesVer másVer menos

  Great shampoo and conditioner bar

I’ve been really impressed with the Kitsch Rosemary & Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner Bars. They lather well, leave my hair feeling clean without stripping it, and have a fresh rosemary scent that’s noticeable but not overpowering. After using them consistently, my hair feels healthier, softer, and looks fuller. The shampoo does a great job of removing buildup, while the conditioner leaves my hair smooth and easy to manage without weighing it down. I also like that the bars last a long time compared to bottled products, making them a great value.Overall, this is one of the best shampoo and conditioner sets I’ve used. If you’re looking for a plastic-free option that leaves your hair feeling clean, healthy, and refreshed, I’d definitely recommend giving these bars a try.Ver másVer menos

  does not last 100 washes

I love the product, especially the conditioner, but it doesn't last as long as it is stated.I didn't think I would need to repurchase this soon.It lathers well, and the clump size is drastically reduced, even though I wash my hair twice at a time. It probably won't last 100 washes.Ver másVer menos

These bars last forever! How do they make money??

I ordered a rice water shampoo bar almost a year ago and finally finished it. Hair is so much fuller and healthier, and it’s perfect for traveling. Couldn’t wait to buy another and test out the conditioner. This is the first conditioner bar that actually works!! Love it. But seriously how do they make money when the bars last so long?! They don’t fall apart like all the others..Ver másVer menos
