  Works great

  I updated my review, at first I was putting water in the bottom 3rd and putting it in the deep freeze and adding water in the morning. The water stayed cold all day but there was no ice at the end of the day. I figured out the water wasn't freezing all the way because of the insulation. I more put ice cubes in it and the ice will last most of the week even adding room temperature water in it every morning. It really exceeds my expectations.Ver másVer menos

  Perfect

  Great. Literally no issues to speak of. Sucker holds ice for 2-3 days if I keep it out of the sun. It can probably keep water cool for 4 days. It depends on your water to ice ratio. Very tough, resists scratches in my construction job.

  Great jug.

  I love this jug. Excellent for always having plenty of cold water on the farm. Well insulated. Only reason it's not 5 star is the small drinking lid can pop off of the clip that holds it, and I had to glue the clip holder as well.Otherwise an excellent jug and I would not hesitate to buy another one if i need it.Ver másVer menos

  Keeps ice good and the price is just right

  I have not really tested this outside except for times I could not go directly to work and the car was hot. Those few times it did take me at least 2 hours to get to my home base, the ice was fine, in fact I don’t remember it mattering at all. In those cases which were rare, the temps outside varied since I have had this cooler long enough to experience both hot and cold in my car. Just wanted to make that clear since most will likely want it to use it outside in the heat.I bought this to keep ice in a cooler. I have provided pictures for context. I don’t work in a typical office, more like a mobile office with no facilities so I keep this under my desk. The cooler I have is electric, and can be a freezer or a refrigerator but not both. I like ice with my beverages so I decided to figure out a way to keep ice for longer than a day. It was getting to be a pain to bring a thermos with only ice every day. The Yeti cooler that is similar to this is $150 (yikes!) and in my experience although Yeti is good, you’re paying for a name. I’ve never cared about status like that so I was looking for something more economical that works just as good. I’ll only buy a name brand if I can’t find something that is on par with its quality. But I do think I found it in this cooler, at least for what I was needing it for. Monday I will fill it all the way up with those large cubes, bring it to work which takes me about 35 minutes then I’ll put it in my camping cooler at around 39-41 degrees. The only way I have to fill it up sooner is if I run out before Friday. That’s happened during the hotter months when I drink more but now that it’s winter it actually stays the entire week. It keeps the ice for that long. Not perfect, it does start to melt around Wednesday but because the cubes are large, I haven’t found it to be a problem. They are still in pretty good shape. It lasts through Friday which helps me to limit how often I have to refill it which is exactly what I wanted.Ver másVer menos

  Keeps water cold in high temperatures

  After a week of use this jug seems to be great! I filled it with “refrigerator” cold water at about 5am. I used the jug on a white roof in direct sunlight all day long when temps in the shade were 93 deg f. The water was still cold when I was finishing it on my way home from work at 330pm. As long as the seals/gaskets hold up this will be a great water jug. The only difficult part is trying to drink from it while at stop lights on my way home. I have to contort myself a bit to make it happen. That’s on me though, not the jug’s fault lol.Ver másVer menos
