Powerful, yet lightweight
I wanted a powerful, lightweight stick vacuum with a cord for my home which has all laminated flooring. After researching I found people reviewed most battery powered vacuums ran out of their charge in 20 minutes or less. The Shark Rocket Pro Corded was the best option for me. I can vacuum my entire home easily. It has very powerful suction and works extremely well over the few throw rugs I have. The cord is long enough I only have to move and re-plug it in 3 times throughout my house. The handheld function is wonderful - it detaches quite easily from the stick and its a breeze to empty. I would recommend it! It’s a great value for the money.Ver másVer menos

LOVE!!
I absolutely love this vacuum. I have had it almost two years and it has held up so well! I use it pretty much every other day and it’s still going strong. Just make sure to change the filters out every couple months. I love how it comes apart to get into small spaces and the light on the front is super helpful. The suction is great and gets up pet hair easily. Only complaint is the cord could be longer but it’s not a big deal.Ver másVer menos

Love at first vaccuuming
It's fabulous right out of the box for many reasons, although leaving a review after only using an appliance once isn't normally something that I tend to do. But this Shark stick vaccuum has so many great attributes, and being that my other Shark is eight yrs old and I've not once had problems w/it - except that it is heavy and can't be lifted and used for stairs - I know that this brand has demonstrated its trustworthiness. The Shark ProDLX was probably the simplest thing I've ever put together, with only a few pieces to click in place, and not only is a great product manual included here, but it's also written right on the unit what goes where, press this, click that - no weird hieroglyphics that must be deciphered - (as w/ anything from Miele). It is incredibly easy to separate the handheld piece from the wand and the wand from the brush. The vaccuum's motorized brush and swivel steering sucked up HALF a cup of dust and dirt on my rather dense and lowpile carpet that the Miele TurboTeam (pure suction only) failed to get when I vaccuumed with that only about one week ago. The Rocket also managed to clean my few throw rugs well without sucking up the entire thing into the brush head. And I don't have pets, children, or anything else to yield all of that mess this Rocket extracted. It also has bright headlights that are key to seeing the spots you might've missed on floors. I was worried it might scratch my laminate floors, and would've preferred a softer separate floor brush on those, but luckily it seemed to perform fine on these also.Although it very easy to carry around the house even with my spine issues and arthritis flareups, I can see why some think that this is a little bit heavy. When you are holding it to vacccum you are grabbing the handle to the removable hand vaccuum, which does feel like it can strain the hands a bit and has a heavy feeling. A comfort handle attachment would've worked very well here.I bought this as a basic compromise since what I really wished for didn't actually exist - a stick with a bagged dustbin and all of the features that I most wanted - great suction, a motorized brush roll, easy steering on carpets, very lightweight, and easy maintenance. All you have to do here is clean the tiny filters periodically (once a month for the 2 small filters (pre motor) and 1x a yr for the tinier postmotor filter. And they will not need a replacement for a very long time. Before buying this I tested the Miele turbo team which, not having a rolling motorized head, was like pushing a kid's toy vac on low pile carpeting. And before that I tried Eureka Mighy Mite, which had the desired bagged canister but was so cheaply constructed, a pain to use and to store, and the two wands kept falling off in use. And before that, I tried an Oreck bagged handheld- which was ugly and heavy and useless for larger areas. As an added perk, this Shark stores nicely with a nifty hook that allows for easily mounting the handheld piece on it when not in use. So it takes very little room up to store. And that purple shade is a great added touch. Much gentler on the eyes than many other standard vacs available. Right now, I'm truly pleased, and it's remarkable since hardly any appliance ever meets my lofty expectations.

Dependable, affordable vacuum
This is my third Shark Rocket Pro vacuum over 13 years. Have to remember newer vacuums are not made like the old ones that lasted for 25 years. However, it fits my budget and I love this vacuum. It is lightweight and is easily maneuverable. Performance is tops as it has powerful suction for both wood floors and carpets. The design allows you to vacuum under almost anything without having to move all your furniture. The cord is long enough for me to reach each room in my small condo. I only have 2 complaints: it is not free standing; the motor is loud and has a high pitched whine which is annoying.Would love if the manufacturers could make this model with a Hepa filter.Ver másVer menos

Well-worth the money!
This thing is awesome. I love it because it's lightweight powerful and easy to maneuver. I can't believe something this small can do such big work! I needed it because I've got more carpet than tile, and it does an incredible job. And talk about picking up the hair. This vacuum doesn't disappoint!Ver másVer menos

Poor design with power cord at the top of vacuum
I bought this vacuum several months ago, but due to illness, among other things, it wasn’t used much. When I did use it, I really liked most things about it, however, did not like the fact it wouldn’t stand up on its own, or that the power cord came out of the top. I also didn’t care for the way you empty it; in order to do without making a mess, it pretty much has to be detached, which is inconvenient. That said, it is quite powerful, it’s easy to maneuver, has a good cord length, and no problems with hair getting tangled. The last time I used it, it started randomly shutting off. I figured out it had to do with the connection at the top where the power cord was attached. Since this did not have heavy use, and I was the only person that used it, that should NOT have happened. With every use I was careful to leave a loop and holdThe vacuum with my hand on it to prevent it being pulled. I’m too busy with appointments and other things, and don’t feel well mostOf the time. I honestly highly resent the fact that I have to deal with this. I very carefully research and read reviews before a purchase, and did not see anyone at the time with the same issue. It would at least be nice if there were a number listed where it would make it easier to contact the company. Thinking I might not buy another Shark after this.Ver másVer menos

How can I be so excited about a vacuum cleaner?
I could not believe how happy this vacuum cleaner made me. It has great suction and maneuverability, and left beautiful defined lines in the carpet. It picked up dog hair and carpet dust with ease. Frankly, I was shocked how much it pulled out. Was our house really that dirty? Easy to empty too. How is it that I’m excited to vacuum again?Ver másVer menos

This Vacuum Really Sucks (But in a good way)
Pros: It's pink. It has a very powerful suction. It seems sturdy. The cord is really long.Cons: It doesn't stand up by itself. The attachments don't clip to the unit. It's kind of heavy to use.Overall it's fine. If I had been able to try it first I probably would have made a different choice because it falls over every time you let go of it. Also, I know I'm never going to be able to keep track of the attachments. But it vacuums and it's pink. It's good enough.Ver másVer menos

Funciona bien
