Works great but...
I have purchased multiple units to control my outdoor lighting. I don't use Alexa or Google; I just need the timers to automatically turn lights on and off. Installation is fairly easy if you've installed a switch before. After installing the mobile app, connecting the switch to your Wi-Fi, and configuring it takes less than 5 minutes. My only gripe is durability. Two of the four I purchased stopped working in just under 3 years. The mechanical switch on one, and the wifi radio in the other, went kaputt. These should last longer, but they work so well, I still highly recommend them.Ver másVer menos

Smart switches are illuminating!
I now have about a half dozen of these installed, with plans to add more.Perfect addition to our evolving Alexa based “smart home”. Attractive and easy to install/easy to connect .

UL Approved & Software Updates keep it working steadily
They are UL approved or listed, I forget which one but I did look it up. They're relatively straightforward to install. YOU NEED A NEUTRAL WIRE. I've installed 3 of these in my home, and likely will look to get the 3 way switches at some point. We've had one issue where the physical button didn't work and I had to flip the breaker. When I went into the app to check on it afterwards, there was actually an update waiting for that EXACT problem. I had it on auto-update, but there are certain ones that do not auto-update.The quality feels a bit cheap, the look is nice, though I am not the biggest fan of their branding on the wall plate, those are cheap and easily replaceable. I wish the switch itself was a toggle up or down rather than a physical button push, but as I have not used any other smart switches, I don't know if this is a universal design or typical to GHome. I bought into this product when they were named Gosund and use a few of their smart receptacles for standing lamp lights. The LED light is app-controllable, you can set it to be on when the lights are off, on when the lights are on, or off entirely.Ver másVer menos

Excellent switches, but they are only good for about 3 year of busy manual use.
These lights are great, but know they have a lifespan for busy spots. I've got these all over my house in different styles of singles, three way, and dimmers. They all work great and connect easily on start up. For the price, I think they are the best option. My only issue is that they will only last about 3 years on busy switches that get lots of manual use. I'm starting to go through and replace the ones that the manual function is getting flaky on they are hesitant to switch with command as well.Ver másVer menos

Excellent product. Easy install, setup and use.
These are amazing. Easy to install and set up. Easy to change the settings. Only thing is they are large so you need room in your switch box. It can be hard to stuff all the wires back in.

Work well
I installed these about 8 to 9 months ago. I thought they were easy to install and set up ( I am pretty handy). They have worked flawlessly with our echo dot. I have set up routines (on & off) for our porch, lampposts and carriage (exterior garage) lights.

They don't last more than 2 years.
The durability of these is questionable. I had to replace 4 after 2 years. they start making a whistle noise when on. the app is very reliable and scenes work great and that's the reason i kept buying them. one big issue for me is that they changed the pilot color from red to green, and in your bedroom, that pilot green all night is not good for you and your sleep, which render the switch unuseful for the bedroom.update: you can change the pilot light in the app to be off or vice-versa. still had to replace a few.Ver másVer menos

Simple single pole switch, easy install. Be sure there is a neutral wire, otherwise won’t work.
Works great. Simple install, toughest part pushing all the electrical wires back in the box.
