Easel Stand for Painting and Sign, Adjustable 17-66 Inch | Envi

Great sturdy easel for artists and beginners alike
I’m really impressed with this easel. It was easy to set up, feels surprisingly sturdy, and had no problem holding my large sketch pad. I got this for my little brother who wants to take art more seriously. It’s lightweight enough to move around the house or take to a class, and it folds up easily for storage. The adjustable height and angle make it comfortable to work whether you’re sitting or standing. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable easel for drawing, painting, or displaying artwork, I would definitely recommend this one.Ver másVer menos

Perfect to display tri-fold poster board
This easel is made of Light weight material, was easy to use, stable and sturdy when assembled. PERFECT for the job it had to do for me....that was to hold a tri-fold poster during my brother's burial service. The extension at the top was set up for use with a camera which I didn't need, but because of the wind this day, The handy edge clip held the top of the posterboard. Mission accomplished. I now have plans to use it for my camera for some group pictures. Excellent value for my money. As you will note in the picture, it provided for an attractive display (Note: I blurred all the pictures for reasons of privacy.)Ver másVer menos

Wonderful Upgrade
By the way! I saw tripod hamock weights in the recommendations to go with this - seems like a great idea to put paints and brushes in, and would help weigh down this /extremely/ lightweight easel. I'd also recommend a camping/gardening stool and something to set more supplies on, if you're doing en plein air. Also, try finding a way to attach a paper towel for excess paint on your brushes. I've found I can rest a ruler on the lower hook-things for that. Wowzers will this easel let me just stroll through the park with only a bag of supplies, see some cool sunlight action on whatever plant, and just sit down to paint. It can go small, too, so you could just set it on a desk if you like. Then you could set all your stuff at arm's reach. For an actual review: Like I said, it's extremely lightweight. It seems sturdy enough; I'm just not so sure it would still stand straight if you whacked it against a boulder. Don't whack your gear into boulders. Anyway, for normal use, indoor and occasional outdoor, I suspect this will last me many years if I'm careful. The clasps may be a little delicate, like they'd be the first to break if you whacked it against a boulder. Ooh, another thing: I love how cleanable it looks. All surfaces are smooth, so I don't think I'll need to tape it up as I've done with my wooden board (that's more of a drawing surface, really). And the whole thing is extremely adjustable. And I love the carrying bag and the extra pieces just in case the small bits get lost. (Please be careful, those small bits may fall out if you unscrew the brackets too far.) Anyway, product seems neat. I'm very happy with it. I'll update my review if it ever breaks. With luck, I'll never need to. I don't whack my gear into boulders.Ver másVer menos

Portable and durable
THis is easy to use and lightweight. I like that I can put it on the floor or on top of a table and use it to paint. I also like that the back piece is adjustable for both small and large canvases. It is definitely a function over form item, so if you are looking for something pretty to use for a decorative sign or something I would go with a different item, but for the money this was a great value. It comes with a storage bag and is easy to put away and put together.Ver másVer menos

Great easel
I love this light weight but sturdy easel. It was easy to put together for the first use. I love that it can hold many sizes up to 36 inches. Would buy again if needed, though it seems like it will last quite some time. Worth the money.

Effective but Limiting
This easel works well with a smaller to medium sized canvas. It is not very tall, so it only works well when sitting down. It is rather easy to assemble, but it can be annoying to adjust the top holder, as the holding frame occasionally butts into the fabric brace strap when adjusting. The edges of the tray are also alarmingly sharp; I cut my finger on that part before realizing. The easel is sturdy enough, but it is easily knocked over. Overall, you can't beat the price and it definitely does the job.Ver másVer menos

perfect for me
I am not an artist but do like painting (by number!). I have decided that a neck ache is not worth the painting time so I decided to invest in an easel. This one is absolutely perfect. It is very portable and folds up nicely as you can see in the first photo. There is also a carrying case which makes it convenient for traveling or storing away. The height can be adjusted so you can be comfortable either sitting or standing. It comes already assembled with the exception of the tray which simply pops onto the easel frame. The tray is used to hold your paints, rags, brushes, etc. I particularly like the fact that there is a level on the easel which helps if you decide to go outside. Additionally, the "feet" on the legs adjust to the angle of the ground without you having to do anything. Vey convenient. The material of the stand is a light metal and when set up and locked, it is very sturdy. I will be using only indoors but I can see how convenient it would be outside, as well. Keep in mind that this frame is relatively lightweight so be cognizant, if you paint outside, of any wind that may tip it over. I'm very pleased and would recommend this easel, especially for the quasi-painter, such as myself.Ver másVer menos

Excellent quality easel stand
This is the larges size of what we bought, we returned this, however, the smaller one we have is an excellent product. My wife paints with acrylic, and she loves it. It is stable and can be adjusted to larger canvas sizes. Find her on Surgi's Art on Facebook.

The easel stand is very steady, light and very convenient to carry around. Works very well for putting on the table as well as on the floor. Good quality, strongly recommended to buy.

Compact portable easel
I bought this as a travel easel that I can pack in a carry-on bag for plein air painting while travelling. It's not a solid, heavy duty easel but for my purpose, it's just the right size and weight and I think it will function well. It's a good price also, I've seen the same easel locally for almost double the price.Ver másVer menos
