Performs Well Above Its Pay-Grade
This is easily one of the top two hair tools I’ve ever owned, and I have spent considerably more money trying to achieve considerably less.It gives me a genuinely salon-quality round-brush blowout with one hand—smooth, bouncy, polished hair to the point that women at work ask how mine possibly looks like this when the humidity has everyone else reconsidering their life choices.One important thing: understand the assignment. This is not what I use to take soaking-wet hair from shower to finished. I let my hair dry most of the way first, then use this to smooth, shape and add volume. Used that way, it’s fantastic.Mine is now two years old and has been used so relentlessly that the little brush prongs have finally begun admitting defeat one by one. So apparently I’m going to have to endure the financial hardship of spending another $20 after two years. I’ll recover financially. 😂Ver másVer menos

One of the best hairdryers I've ever owned
I bought this reasonably priced hairdryer to give it a try - hoping it would speed up my routine and encourage me to blow out my hair more, rather than just sticking it in a clip after showering. I expected there to be a learning curve, but I found it to be very user friendly. I like it so much, that I've stopped using my very expensive hairdryer than was supposed to use ion technology to make hair shiny. This makes my hair shiny and soft, and after using it for months, I don't notice any damage to my hair.A couple of minor points:1) the settings are written on the handle which you twist to change. It took a minute to get used to, but it's probably no more difficult than changing the settings on any other hairdryer.2) "cool" isn't very cool - it's more like "room temp", so if you like to use cool to lock in your style, I'm not sure the tepid air does the trick.That said, I was so impressed with this, I bought one for each of my daughters.Ver másVer menos

So far so good!
I have wanted a hairbrush dryer for a while now. I have very thin, fine hair that is prone to frizz no matter what I do. It was the claims of adding volume, shine and frizz control. Since there are many options, I did some research both online and Amazon to try and narrow it down. I'm sure anyone reading this already knows there's lots of choices and you can spend a lot on these! Due to budget constraints, most were checked off the list for that reason alone. What I did see was that this Revlon Hairbrush dryer kept popping up in articles (probably sponsored ads?) and that it's also one of the top sellers on Amazon. Based off price, product description and customer reviews I made the leap and purchased this one.It arrived next day (on time) I had read some reviews that customers received brushes with stands of hair in them. That was not my experience. Everything was packaged right and had no signs of any use.It has a little weight to it but not so much that it should bother you. I also read reviews that said it is exceptionally louder than a regular hair dryer. To me it is no louder at all.I love the swivel cord, especially when curling, smart touch!It must be said that I am no good at styling my hair with brush and hair dryer. I found this much easier to use but I did practice a bit.As other reviewers stated, it does run pretty hot on all settings. There is a rubber grip on the end to hold on too but it's not too big. Just be aware of that and maybe wear a glove? It does have three air flow settings, low, medium and high but it's important to note that they only control the flow, not the temperature. The low setting does feel slightly cooler but that could just be because of the slower speed. There is a cold shot button which is recommended to hold your style, but doesn't blow very cold air at all. The setting controls are at the bottom end and they are very hard to reach and turn with just one hand unless you curl the brush until it is facing away from you and you can see it in the mirror. Otherwise it pretty much forces you take brush out of your hair to change settings and than move back to finish spot, that doesn't help the style and it's annoying. It may be easier for some and maybe I will get better at it as I get used to it.As far as drying time, it dries my hair super fast! It always has with regular dryer but this cuts it down to a fraction of the time! It also does add some volume to my otherwise limp hair, it curls nice and I love that I can straighten or curl with one tool.My biggest concern and what almost caused me to pass on this are the reviews stating this has damaged their hair, some even claim there hair has fallen out! This scares the you know what out of me, especially as someone who has suffered hair loss before (stress) and doesn't have the healthiest hair to begin with. The really scary part is the ones that say that they loved this, used for months and than hair began falling out! How would you even know it would happen until it has and than it's too late. Based off all the positive reviews and women I know using them with no hair damage I decided to try. You definitely should use a heat protector and many have said to wait until hair is 70-80% dry. I only use the low and cool settings, as I mentioned it seems a little cooler to me and slower flow. That still drys my hair super fast, so I'm praying that with the faster dry time, product and waiting till almost dry will result in healthier hair instead as some have said. I understand the low setting probably won't dry fast for long, thick hair but it works for me.Overall, I am pretty happy with this purchase. It has helped me with frizz, not all gone but definitely helps! It gives me some volume and it also gives me some more shine though I can't tell you how much, how do they guage that percentage anyway? LolSo far overall I'm glad I bought it. Going forward, I will update as needed. Please pray my hair doesn't start falling out!!

It's wonderful, my hair is wavy and leaves it soft, silky and stretched in a few minutes. It's a very good investment

UPDATE - BROKE IN 14 MONTHS!
UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER (8/30/25): I've owned this since June of '24, so a year and 2 months. I use it twice a week for about 20-30 minutes each time. I treat it very gently, meaning I never lay down when it is on, never bang it on anything, never put it away hot, always keep it turned off and laid on a silicone, heat-proof pad between passes through my hair, never get it wet, never tightly bend or wrap the cord, never abuse it in any way.Today, while styling my hair, it started to make a loud, metallic, clanking noise. I immediately turned it off and shook it gently to see if it seemed like something was loose. I could hear something rattling. I let it cool down, then tried again. The noise was louder and sounded dangerous, so I turned it off and unplugged it. When it was cool, I removed the brush to see if the rattle was in the brush section or the motor section. It was in the motor section. So, I now have to throw it in the trash just a little over a year after buying it, since I'm sure whatever is rattling around makes it unsafe to use.Shame on Revlon for making a cheap and dangerous product. I have grown to like this tool, but will be replacing it with a different brand.UPDATE 7/8/24: I've had it a month now. As mentioned in the CONS in my first review, I am still not able to get the amount of curve I want at the ends of my hair (my thin, fine hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders). I do like the smoothness the brush creates, but the ends are a real problem for me. Without a little curve there, my hair looks unfinished. I'll keep trying and if I figure it out, I'll update, but it is disappointing right now.PROS: I've just used the Revlon One Step Volumizer PLUS 2.0 twice. I have truly never used any other home drying/styling product that created such shine and smoothness! I have very fine, thin hair that tends to have lots of fly-aways after styling with my round brush and blow drier. But the fly-aways are almost completely under control after using the One Step brush. Though it looks and feels large, the combination of the narrow area in the handle, the non-slip material of the handle, and the cool top actually are much easier to use than holding a dryer in one hand and a round brush in the other. It doesn't seem too heavy for me but perhaps if you had a whole lot of hair that took a long time to dry, you might find it heavy. The price is a big PRO. I've researched and read reviews and there is little difference in outcome with more expensive brands, plus some of those brands don't have the cool top handle, which I find very useful.CONS: The temperature controls are a kind of a joke. High is way too hot for most hair. Med is almost as hot as High. Low is really more of a Medium heat (and is what I used). Cool is just as hot as Low but blows more air. They need to re-work these controls AND they need to add a Cold-Shot button. For styling, I'm still getting used to it. The two times I've used it, I was unable to get the amount of curve I wanted at the bottom of my shoulder-length hair. However, I've since watched a bunch of YouTube videos on using this tool, and have some new tricks to try next time. I would like to see the option of two brush types - the oval one it has now and a round and somewhat smaller one for shorter and/or thinner hair. I read reviews that indicate this less-expensive tool doesn't last as long as some of the higher-end brands, so that may be an issue down the line.Overall, I'm pleased I bought it, love the results I've gotten after two uses, and expect to have even better results with a little more practice.

I just got a haircut and it was a bad one and one of my friends was telling me about the Revlon one one step volumizer hairdryer and how it might actually help with the now unfortunate bangs situation I have going on. Great Product, As Advertised
Excellent product, purchased for travel substitute for air-wrap. Love the ability to detach the brush for preliminary drying. The barrel quickly becomes notably more hot than my air-wrap, but for infrequent use I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue

Great brush!
I really like this brush, it saves a lot of time. I have lots and thick hair, l used to spend like 30 minutes to do my hair but with this brush it dries supe fast, gives a lot of volumen. You need to use so heat protector as the heat is pretty intense but medium speed will do it. You be will done in 10 minutes or less. Pretty convenient to travel as it comes is 2 parts so easy to pack. Really happy with it.Ver másVer menos

Maravilloso, redujo mi tiempo de secado 15 a 20 min aprox.
Tengo 7 meses con ella, la pedí porque no me gustaba tener que secar y luego planchar mi pelo todos los días antes del trabajo, tardaba mucho y como mi pelo si tiende a esponjarse a veces, no era opción llevármelo sin hacerle nada. Este secador redujo aprox. 15 o 20 min mi rutina de pelo en la mañana, es de las mejores compras que he hecho, era mi primera vez comprando un articulo de este tipo, investigué mucho y por relación precio-calidad fue el mejor que encontré, si es su primera vez comprando alguno de los cepillos de Revlon, yo les recomendaría este, porque el mango del cepillo es más ligero y lo puedes usar como secador, en caso de que no tengas, es buena opción y cuando te vas de viaje también sirve, porque no tienes que cargar tantas herramientas.Puntos importantes para el uso, a mi parecer serían:- No uses el cepillo con el cabello escurriendo, si tienes que secarlo al menos al 70% o mínimo que tu sientas que no esta escurriendo, aparte de que tardas más en estilizarlo, tengo entendido que se daña más tanto el cepillo como tu pelo.- La velocidad media y alta tiene la misma potencia, pero si puedes notar que el aire es un poco más caliente en alta que en media.- Procura limpiar el cepillo cada que termines de usarlo, me refiero a quitarle el cabello que se haya podido quedar atorado, para que dure más.- No enrolles el cable, la verdad no se porque, pero lo recomiendan para que no se dañe, creo que incluso en la caja viene mencionado.- Si quieres mejores resultados, intenta secar secciones medianas o pequeñas, si lo haces en secciones grandes, si funciona, pero yo he sentido que no te queda tan liso, a mi se me hace un poco de frizz cuando lo hago así, pero a veces por las prisas no hay de otra.- El modo cool yo lo uso para pasármelo en la parte de arriba del pelo y me ayuda a calmar un poco los baby hairs o el friz que tenga.Todo esto lo comento en base a mi experiencia, tengo el pelo largo pero no tan chino ni tan lacio, por lo que puede ser que los resultados sean diferentes a alguien con pelo muy chino, más largo, corto, etc.Ver másVer menos

Just one word: this device is great.
It may be hard to believe, but I have the best brands that cost over £300. But I'm so happy with this model that I've put them all in the closet and it's become the best companion for my curly hair.🥰🥰🥰
