cats love it
I put some catnip inside this bed as soon as I took it up to my cats. I put it on top of our bed and one cat immediately crawled in and went to sleep for hours. (I have four cats.). A different cat is also very much in love with this new bed. (I'm sure the catnip was helpful.). I did purchase a large - as my largest cat is 19 lbs and smallest is 9 lbs. A small size would be best for young cats and cats/dogs 9-10 lbs. and smaller. The large bed is the perfect size for an average house cat. Two of my cats just aren't the type to crawl into hiding holes and so they haven't expressed much interest, but maybe that's because the other two are always getting inside the bed! Only thing I was worried about when I opened the package is that there is not any reinforcements to keep the "roof" part of the bed stiff. But the seams are sewn very well and it stands upright anyways. Once the cats crawled in, the bottom flattens out and the shape of it holds. I can't speak about how well it washes, but the bottom pad does come out on its own so I'm assuming it will be a breeze to toss in the wash or hand wash outside when needed. Of my 4 cats, one is the type that is scared of everything and spends his days hiding in a closet or under a bed - he hasn't tried yet to get in this new bed. One is a great big orange ginger who only wants to sleep on the bed or as close to his humans as he can get. One is an elderly female and she LOVES beds where she feels hidden, and the surprise was my Siamese/mix mutt cat who loves to wander all day and come home late afternoon. So two cats out of four give this bed a high five!Ver másVer menos
