My wife and I have sweet blood, so mosquitoes regularly target us when out and about. We normally use Deet to fend them off, but it's pretty potent stuff, so I decided to try Thermacell. What a great product. Repellant is no longer needed, and the range on the Thermacell is impressive, and it lasts for hours. We can hang out on the patio, enjoying our fireplace while playing games, and we don't have to worry about coming in with bites all over. I'm especially excited to try it out while camping in a couple of weeks.Ver másVer menos

Powerful Mosquito Repellent
I own several thermacell devices and the new E-Zone devices are the most effective and economical. They burn much cleaner with less odor and last much longer. Targeting mosquitos and other small insects, these repellents will keep the bugs away for hours. The new machines also only take one cartridge rather than a pad and cartridge. This pack is an excellent value and will last up to 120 hours. Great value and aist for summer backyard outings and adventures!Ver másVer menos

Expensive hours, but a great product!
I've been using the Thermacell E,Series E65 for a while now, and it's honestly one of the best purchases I've made for spending time outside. I used to get eaten alive by mosquitoes every time I sat on my deck, grilled, or went camping. Now I just turn this on, wait about 15 minutes, and the difference is amazing. I still might see an occasional mosquito flying around, but they don't bother me or try to bite. It really does create a nice little protection zone. Setup couldn't be much easier. I charged it with the included USB cable, popped in the repellent cartridge, and it was ready to go. The battery lasts a long time, and I haven't had any issues taking it from the backyard to the campsite or even to a picnic. It's lightweight and easy to toss into a backpack without taking up much room. One of my favorite things is not having to spray bug repellent all over myself. No greasy skin, no overpowering smell, and no worrying about getting bug spray on my clothes. It's just a much better experiance overall, especially when you're outside for hours. I also bought the refill pack with the 3 cartridges, and they last a long time. I like not having to constantly order replacements, and it's nice knowing I have extras ready to go. The only downside is the price. The refills work fantastic, but they're definitely expensive for what they are. I wish Thermacell would lower the cost a bit because you'll eventually need to replace them if you use the device often. Still, I'd rather pay for refills than deal with mosquito bites every weekend. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's easy to use, portable, and it actually does what it promises. Even with the pricey refills, I'd buy it agian because it makes being outdoors so much more enjoyable.Ver másVer menos

This really works. I can sit on my patio and not get any mosquito bites. Definitely worth the money!

Worth the price
These are a little pricey, but they really work. I use mine on the deck while watching TV in the evenings, and I don’t have to worry about mosquitoes anymore. They provide excellent protection and have made spending time outside so much more enjoyable.

Expensive Outdoor Use
This is for outdoor use, You cannot risk inhaling it indoors, especially if you have pets. It dramatically reduces but does not eliminate all mosquitoes, so it depends on how much time you spend sitting on your patio. I find it very expensive due to the limited use in my very hot climate. I must say it is effective, not stinky, and the batteries are easy to recharge. This is a small but mighty tool, better than applying repellent. I set one outside my front door and turn it on for the two hours morning and evening when I will be going in and out. No West Nile Virus so far, but I already need more refills, estimate 6 per month minimum.Ver másVer menos

I live in SouthEast Texas, and this thing is amazing! I've purchased two so far, and even in conditions that would normally make you not go outside at all these things work. I'm talking about when mosquitos are so bad that even sticking your arm out of your door for 5 seconds results in 10 mosquitos landing on it... Turn this thing on, let it heat up, place it outside and wait a few minutes, then go outside and place it where you're going to be sitting for a while and let it sit some more before going back. I believe somewhere it says 20 minutes, but even in bad mosquito conditions I've been able to stop from being bit in 10 minutes. There are a couple of issues that prevent it from working as well as I'd like, but they are minimal.The maker needs to make a version with an outside plug and a remote control so you can place a couple of them around your outside area and while still inside hit the remote so that it can warm up and do its thing for the 20 minutes before you go into the thick of it. An app would be even better because then you could track the length of time left on your refill and know when to change it out.The other thing that makes it not work is being in the presence of certain cleaning agents and chemicals. Putting two of these around a car makes it so that you can work for hours without any problems, but the second you spray a bit of brake cleaner they are all over you. Also, apparently when you've just poured Drano it will nullify it enough for you to get bit until the smell goes away. That may mean that other things can nullify it so maybe we should try to make a list somewhere to help people out.Please share the idea of a remote/app if you agree, and if the manufacturer reads this, please make a permanently outside version with app so we can leave it plugged in and activate it before we go outside, but other than that it's awesome!Ver másVer menos

Total waste of money.
This misquotes repplent did absolutely nothing—mosquitoes were still everywhere. No noticeable effect at all. I regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
