Easy Upgrade for Dell Inspiron 15 3511 & Immediate Noticeable Improvement
This RAM stick was a perfect fit for my laptop. Installation was easy, although I am fairly comfortable with computers and basic IT-related tasks.I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3511 that originally came with 8 GB of RAM. I watched two YouTube videos on how to install an 8 GB DDR4 2666 RAM stick and went from there. The entire process was simple, and I had my laptop back up and running in less than 10 minutes. The new RAM was recognized immediately, with no errors or issues.Before installing it, my memory usage frequently reached 100%, and my laptop would start relying on the SSD just from opening Google Chrome. Now, with Chrome open while I write this review, memory usage is around 50% and SSD usage is at 0%. My laptop is noticeably faster and handles multitasking much better. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade!Also, a much cheaper DIY project that was so simple and at a better cost than going to a computer repair store for them to do such a simple task and charge you for the labor.Ver másVer menos

Fantastic NAS memory upgrade
I upgraded the memory in my Synology NAS with this to triple the amount of memory available to the system. It was easy to install and directly compatible. The price was good as well. Once installed, the NAS is very noticeably speedier as it now has much more headroom to have a bigger file cache and such.Ver másVer menos

Great Product
Received the stick of RAM as advertised, plugged it into the M70 Think Centre and it booted up and recognized at full speed 2666 MHz no problem. Any stability problems and I'll update this review but so far so good.

Easy to install; laptop picked up that it was 8 GB right away.
The package was concerningly small, though it was pretty easy to install. The video for installation didn't come when it was delivered (I'd expected an email to be sent with a video), but I had experience going into my HP 15 laptop before.Just unscrewed 10 of the same screw: 4 on the underside, 2 beneath the detatchable battery, and 4 beneath the rubber pads. Once unscrewed, I slid the disk drive away, and looked for a long rectangle. I pulled the two secure arms to the side and it popped out. I inserted the new ram by clickingnit into place, rescrewed the screws, and powered it back on. I checked the System Information app and sure enough, the physical installed memory went from 4 GB to 8 GB.I wouln't say that it makes booting up some apps faster, but once I'm in them, they seem to run quite well comapred to using 4 GB of RAM. I would certainly recommend Crucial to a friend. Their price was about $8 less than other sellars, so it was certainly worth it.Ver másVer menos

Installed in a Synology DS425+ NAS. Works flawlessly, installed easily. Definitely recommend.

Funktioniert mit der Synology DS220+
Nach Google Suche und entgegen der Aussage von Synology das nur bis 6GB aufgerüstet werden kann !! ...bin ich das Wagnis eingegangen diese 8GB für meine aktuell Neue Synology DS220+ zu bestellen und bin NICHT enttäsucht worden... nach etwa 1-2 Min. nach einschalten bootete die DS wie sonst auch und erkannte die vollen nun 10GB !!! ( 2GB ab Hersteller fest verlötet ) + die neuen 8GB aus der Bestellung hier :-)Nun freue ich michund habe sofort den Zweck für den ich das gemacht habe getestet und sieh da eine VM mit Debian für den PiHole z.B. lief wirklich gut ... Windows teste ich mal aus Neugier aber das soll sicher nicht das Ziel sein :-)Fazit:- entgegen Hersteller Angabe laufen bei mir 10GB statt max. 6GB in der DS220+- die zusätzlichen Ressourcen werden jedenfalls im Ressourcen-Monitor auch genutzt und die Auslastung entprechend Prozentual gezeigt...Ver másVer menos

Fast delivery and good product
I ordered 2x8GB ram 2666 speed, they actually worked perfectly for my old laptop so now it can handle more work. Shipping was fast 1 day delivery which is amazing.
