Smells good feels good.
Smells lovely. It fit well on my 4.5 gallong trash bin. Doesn't feel cheap like its going to fall apart and the pull strings dont rip through the plastic.

8 gallon bag doesn't fit Hefty 8.6 Gallon wastebasket; duh
This 8 gallon bag might have been able to stretch onto my 8.6 gal basket, but since the drawstring isn't flexible at all, it takes a superhuman effort to get the bag's lip over the basket's lip. Instead, I usually cut the drawstring, then the bag rips a little at the top when I stretch it onto the 8.6 gal basket, but it's good enough to keep from wasting the purchase of these bags. For this photo, I worked up a sweat, and it was the first time I ever got the drawstring over the lip of the basket. As usual, the bag started to rip at the top, anyway. Sorry it's not a match, because the bag is so good. (Except for the environmental issues about purchasing plastic garbage bags, but what can you do?)The bag always rips at the top when the basket is too big; duh. But after that exercise, it doesn't rip anymore beyond that, so it's self-limiting. I find the bag's plastic is plenty strong for the kitchen, but maybe not for carrying masonry supplies. The drawstring eliminates the need for tie-wraps, even if you cut through it with a scissor. My next purchase will a bag that says "8 to 11 gallons," or something like that. I hope it'll be as good as this bag. These fragrant-free bags have no scent.Ver másVer menos

Am I GLAD with these Bags?
Today, I want to talk about important things. Specifically, I’ll be discussing Glad’s drawstring trash bags. When we talk about such basic items, the essence often lies in the details. The first detail is how easily the bags tear off the roll, as it’s often not that simple. As you might have guessed, these trash bags passed the tearing test with flying colors.Next are the drawstrings. It often happens that the drawstrings simply tear off when you try to tie them. However, in this case, they are quite durable, and I have never encountered such an issue when sealing a trash bag.In terms of size, they fit small to medium-sized trash cans perfectly. Although I tested them for tearing by hand, I’ve never had any problems with heavy waste. This is not surprising since we’re mainly talking about kitchen waste. The bags are fragrance-free, which is neither good nor bad; in any case, no smell can mask trash if you haven't disposed of it in a timely manner.Overall, I can confidently recommend these trash bags to anyone looking for a convenient and reliable solution for their trash can. A solid choice!Ver másVer menos

Great value for the money!
We’ve been using these trash bags for a few years and they’ve been great for the most part. We haven’t experienced much leaking even though the bags are super thick. The thickness of them does leave them slightly transparent and color to be like a light white. There have been quite a few times where the string to close it rips, but overall I think it’s a good value for the price point. I would love to see the string issue be nonexistent because the last thing I need is the bag breaking on me on the way to the trash. Again, these aren’t the thickest bags so I think depending on how full and heavy the bag is, the string just can’t handle it. Great for the smaller trash cans around the house though.Ver másVer menos

Own a AutoScooper 12 by Pet Pivot? These fit!!
I do not have an 8-gallon trash can. But I have a cat that uses an AutoScooper 12 made by Pet Pivot. It’s an automatic litter box. These bags fit the cat litter capture box that slides underneath perfectly. Cheaper and better made than the manufacturer provided replacement bags.Ver másVer menos

Great bag for garbage
Reliable product. It has a fresh lemon scent that isn’t too chemically smelling. Fits as expected and has a decorative print.

I Love The Scent
There is no disputing that each time you flip up the trash-bin lid the lovely scent makes you smile. However, I have to deduct two stars for the Glad claim, "DRAWSTRING TRASH BAG: The drawstring closure ensures a tight grip on trash cans and makes for a simple removal with a quick cinch of the durable drawstring".Perhaps I'm missing the how-to on getting the bag to secure around the lip of the trash bin. I cannot see how the drawstring is an advantage in staying securely around the container. When you pull the string it just withdraws or lays slack. I'll wait for any feedback on how this is supposed to work. I can't figure it out. Sure, you can sinch the entire bag together once you remove it and get ready to throw it out but, prior to that I just don't see it.Ver másVer menos
