Great small closet solution!
This ironing board was perfect for our recent closet glow up. We have a narrow closet with two doors and a wall-mounted shoe organizer between them, and this mounted perfectly to the side of the shoe cabinet. When folded up, it doesn't stick out from the wall very far, and it's extremely easy to unfold and put away. I actually preferred this design to models where the ironing board itself folds in half. Those may take up less wall surface area, but they protrude farther and seemed less stable during use.The ironing surface is of course smaller than a standard freestanding board, but for us that's a worthwhile tradeoff. We'd much rather have a compact board that's always ready to use than deal with storing and setting up a full-size board in this closet. We did purchase separate mounting hardware, but only because we were attaching it to an IKEA PAX cabinet rather than drywall or wall studs. Overall, this worked exactly as hoped and has been a great space-saving solution.Ver másVer menos

Perfect!
I ordered this for my sewing room. My husband installed it right away, it didn't take long. He had to use different anchor screws because it was attached to wallboard, not studs. That being said, it is super sturdy. It is small enough to not be obtrusive if I leave it down (it is down most of the time) but big enough for me to iron my tops and dresses. For sheets, I would take out my large ironing board. It flips up easily and dropping it down takes no more than a second. I love it!I was going to get one that has a cabinet around it for that built-in look. But my mother has one and it is just super bulky and quite noticeable (and also open all the time). I am glad I went with this one - I saved money and space.Ver másVer menos

Excellent buy for the money
This is exactly as advertised. Works very well. Two minor negative comments:It comes with 4 LARGE molly bolts, that extend well past the inside surface of the drywall. If you use them on an outside wall, they will puncture the vapor barrier on the insulation. Hot a good idea in a laundry area. Use regular drywall anchors instead, since they will handle far more than the required weight. (The ironing board did NOT come with screws for fastening into studs.)There is a brace on the bottom of the board, that is angled up from the bottom of the wall bracket. That requires installing the ironing board assembly several inches higher than the top of a washer or dryer (if that's where you are installing it) than I would have liked.Ver másVer menos

Great Ironing Board
Love this ironing Board! It installed quickly with 4 screws and little effort and is so easy to use. The release lever moves smoothly and makes it super easy to drop down and put back into place. I love that I know longer need to set up and take down an ironing board. It’s smaller than a standard one but large enough to get the job done. It’s also great for small spaces. My only complaint is that I didn’t buy it sooner! It really takes the “work” out of ironing my clothes.Ver másVer menos

Great ironing board to install in closet
We bought this to replace the standard board always up in the other room. The big one took to much room. This has a small frame but sturdy. The mounting holes X4 are spaced at width of 12 inches so you cannot mount into 16 in studs. We made a painted wood frame into studs then screwed into that. It's so nice looking! Our hamper fits under. And we bought a Sunbeam white iron rack to put above it. Highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

Almost Perfect
Overview:As described.Experience:Yep as described and in keeping with other reviews, that's good for 4 stars. I don't give 5 stars unless it does all that and does something exceeding expectations, like sing and dance. Heavy duty rigid frame rated at 25lbs I held held in place with screws set into wall anchors, Very east easy to install and very well made. Again meets expectations in function and build quality.Ver másVer menos

Worked good for me after modification
Worked good for me after modification. The board was not square in the frame. I Added a new hole for one of the axle bolts that the board tips down on and tapped it in the frame to allow the board to stow squarely in the frame. It would have worked the way it arrived but would have looked crooked on the wall.Ver másVer menos

Great space saver for an ironing board
I originally had an ironing board that was designed to hang over a door. It finally wore out and I bought the ironing board listed above. It was smaller than my previous one but it really had equal room as there were no supports under the board and now I can slip a skirt the whole length of the board. Very sturdy and easy to assemble and use. I love it.Ver másVer menos

So handy. A joy to use.
So handy to use and put away (just flips up). Yes, a bit shorter than ‘full size’ ironing boards but perfect for anything that I iron. So nice that cords don’t tangle at the bottom like on traditional ironing board. Simple but works exactly as needed.
