Perfect, Plastic free, one pot direct heat source coffee press!!
I was looking for a durable in home/on the go, direct heat source quality coffee press without spending a ton of money... This is it! High quality, all metal construction, easy to use and clean. No Plastics at all!! I find I'm using it at home now as my main coffee pot! Fits in my computer backpack with ease. Fill to inside Max line with water and place on stove. When just starting to kind of boil remove from heat and stir in 4 table spoons of grounds. I used 3 table spoons the first time and it did taste a little weak. 4 seems to be perfect for me. Let it steep for about 4-5 minutes then press. Done! Pours with no mess and no grounds get through!Ver másVer menos

Coffee lover's must have!!
If you love coffee and are on the go a lot, this thing is perfect for you! Not only is it extremely light, it is easy to clean and you can even unscrew the lid handle from the top to press the coffee down in the pot and drink from it. This is especially great for camping! The polished titanium is easy on the hands when you hold it. Unlike some other brands that are not polished, the look and feel is not as pleasant. Great design and comfort went into making this unit. It has good sturdy handles that stay in place so you can grip your coffee at ease but they also fold in for storage too. You can pack this little guy inside other titanium pots as well with it's small portable size. There is nothing I can say I dislike about this product, sometimes you may see it on sale. Even if it's not, it's still worth it! Buy it now. While you're at it, pick up the wood knot cup holder to connect to this, it complements it so well!Ver másVer menos

Small and practical
I really like this pot. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. It is just perfecto to make two big cups of coffee. The only thing I find noticeable is the wooden handle. It tends to roll as you are screwing the different parts of the press. I guess It can be fixed with some glue, but have not tried. I always have to tilt it a little so it gets traction and stops rolling. Other than that, I love this pot. It is really lightweight, and the small gas canister (200gr) from Coleman fits perfectly, so I use less space when packing.Ver másVer menos

lightweight and strong
I've seen titanium flashlights advertised for twice the price of aluminum ones so I thought titanium is a quite an expensive metal. Indeed it's more expensive than aluminum but I didn't realize that you could get a whole pot made out of this material for so cheap. It's very lightweight and quite sturdy - exactly what this metal offers over and above aluminum. It's suppose to be quite strong, similar to stainless steel thus manufacturers can make it thinner while keeping the strength.Coffee performance-wise it works very well. The mesh is fine so coffee grinds don't get through. The press and the pot edge fits tight giving good resistance yet doesn't feel like it's going to scratch. Just be sure to get the proper size grind. Not all grinds are created equal. If you get the store bought stuff that's really meant for paper filters, you may be disappointed that there's some grit and residue in your last cup. If you get your own whole beans and use a high quality conical burr grinder minutely adjusting the settings to ensure a large enough grind each cup will be like a sip of heaven.I fired this up the butane stove and seems to take a bit longer than a conventional aluminum pot. Titanium isn't as great of a heat conductor compared to aluminum or copper. Regardless this is great for those that appreciate a good cup of coffee while trying to keep their base weight down. Makes Good Coffee
Makes good coffee. Use medium grind coffee or, use a 4 cup drip coffee maker filter placed under the screen and folded up towards the top before pressing fine ground coffee. Use hot but, not boiling water and wait 5 minutes or so before pressing. Boiling water gives the coffee a burnt taste. The press only needs to be pushed about half way down.The filter or screen will do the rest. Good for making camp coffee or use at work for a quick cup. Smaller than expected
Nice construction, but not really 750ml. It has a fill line at 500ml. Even going above the fill line to the very top would be tough to say 750ml.

Great set, wish it was a little bigger
I know the size is listed on Amazon but for some reason I still thought it might hold a little more water then it does when I actually got it in my hands. That said it's light weight, well put together, comes with a nice bag and is a nice french press. The pot also doubles for boiling soup or a small amount of water so that's a huge plus as far as camping gear goes. Love when something can be used for multiple purposes. I'd love it if this company released a larger version as this pretty much is going to only make coffee for one person at a time, or two small cups.Update: I've used this on two camping trips and really like it. It makes enough for two people to have a cup of coffee, but if you are like me you'll most likely want to brew a second batch to top off the two cups. I prefer to use this over the cheap camping percolator type coffee makers. As stated, just wish it was a little bigger.Ver másVer menos

Bought as a present, not yet used. But on looking seems sturdy, lightweight and exactly what the recipient, who is an all weather camper, needs.

Perfect size for boiling water for hydrated food.
We were very happy with this product. And will continue to buy gear from Bestargot. The handles do get warm but if positioned correctly can be used to pour even after boiling.
