  Reliable

Good quality, especially the connection ends. They transmit sound to regular tvs, which is the important part.

  It works

I am not able to attest to the rating of the picture quality, resolution support or whatever, but it properly converts a DP signal to an HDMI signal. There are no retention locks on the DP side. If having that is important to you look elsewhere. If not having it is important to you, then you're probably not the kind of person to push these kinds of cables to their limits anyway; go ahead and get this one.Ver másVer menos

Good cable but MUST read specifications

I bought the 5 pack and they do just as advertised. They transmit video (and audio if you wish) from a DisplayPort output (e.g. Computer) to an HDMI display (e.g. TV/Monitor). It will NOT work the other way around (HDMI source to DP display). In my use which I didn't see on the specs for this, this will NOT support a refresh rate over 60Hz for a display of 1920x1080. I did see it will only do 30Hz for a 4k display which is a crime if you're using 4k unless you're using it to look at pictures or something. That being said, this is not ideal for gaming or HD/UHD movie watching, but will work. I was using these for monitors with refresh rates over 60Hz at resolutions of 1080p or higher and will be returning unfortunately.Overall, yes they work and are of good quality, as seems typical for Amazon Basics, but unfortunately at $13 a pop ($60 for the 5 pack), that's just too much for cables that I will have little to no use for. Decent product but very limited capabilities.Ver másVer menos

  We use these a lot.

This is an electric generating plant and we have monitors in a lot of our hallways so that employees can stay informed up to the minute of what is happening. There is a constant stream of activity and these cables enable the monitors to be hooked into the system (basic explanation) and they are durable.Ver másVer menos

good patch cords for GPU out to HDMI converter boxes.

Works perfectly fine, no complaints. Not as easy to lose as a plug adapter. I used these to go out from a Nvidia GPU (display port) to HDMI->SDI converters (the black magic boxes). Works perfectly for this application and is a good length.

Recommended based on quality and cost.

Used this to connect my laptop to the tv and was easy to use and good quality picture as a result. Would definitely buy again based on price and quality of product.
