Works great, and great price point.

I've been using this for a year. The buffeting is gone completely.Adjustable, angle up for less air, down for more air. Between that and the screen adjustment, there's tons of adjustment avaiable. The lip is also adjustable up for taller riders.I commute all year, 30* to 110*. Out here in Colorado spring and fall, it's normal for morning to be 50*, and ride home in 85-90*. The adjustment range makes that comfortable. In dead of summer, even with the screen down and lip back, there's not quite enough air. I'm putting a bikini screen on for July and August. For $23, what do you have to lose? And BTW, it's VERY well made. Well machined, very clear and with good optics through the lip. Slight distortion, but very little.Ver másVer menos

  great quick mount wind deflector

this little added piece of plastic does a good job and is good value for the money. The cast metal mount is good quality and is quite adjustable. I put it on my 2021 BMW R18 beast bike. It directs the main air blast above your head and reduces buffeting. An added value feature is that it reduces wind noise at your ears by at least 50%. you can take it on/off in 30 seconds. hard to find a piece of motorcycle part for 21 Bucks that actually works, this one does.Ver másVer menos

  Get it

This is my 2nd windshield extender, I had originally purchased a motoparty brand that after 50+miles started to flip backwards if fully upright, and would hold up around 60 mph if the set up was at 90 degrees but not sustained. So then I tried this one and oh man what a difference, I did install it a bit sideways but that was my fault, you gotta make sure the little metals don't go out when tightening. Once set up I went for a ride and no issues. I had a round trip from MN to OH and held perfectly going sometimes 75+ mph sustained. Let me tell you that without this my neck would hurt like crazy and now that's gone. I can also drive with my motorcycle helmet visor open or with just eye protection and get protected from small pebbles /insects perfectly. Price was also cheaper. I would Def recommend you give these a try, I did put blue locktite on the screws and had no problems. One of the best purchases on the motoVer másVer menos

  Distorted Vision

I centered this windscreen on my motorcycles windshield. Mounting was simple and only took about 10 minutes. Once mounted I went for a ride. The great thing is it actually works to block wind. You can adjust the angle and actually feel the wind flow over your helmet. HOWEVER the worst of it was the distorted vision. I'm 5'10" and the windscreen is directly in my line of site. The view is so distorted that only after a few miles of riding I had a very bad headache. The best way to describe is it was like looking through a round glass bottle. I had to look over or around the windscreen in order to see clearly. I have removed it. I think what I'll try to do is get a sheet of acrylic plexiglass, cut it to size and use the mounting hardware to make my own windscreen. I was disappointed.Ver másVer menos

  It is a wind deflector.

So, the good news is that it works fine as a wind deflector. Installation is simple, but it will take few moments to correctly position 2 metal plates in the rubber boots. They have tendency to slide sideways as the screws get tightened. If you don't pay attention, I think it is possible to damage the main windbreaker. It works fine and stays in place when the bike is moving. It also looks good.I'm not impressed with the hardware slightly obstructing the view. It is not terrible, perhaps I will get use to us.What bothers me most is the quality of the plastic. You will haven the distorted vision. I can still look over it, but if I had it directly in from of my eyes, it would drive me insane. It is like looking through a bottle of glass.I would gladly spend more money for a quality product.Ver másVer menos

Perfect solution for those who need another foot of wind protection.

It’s nice when you find a product online that is exactly what you need at a very good price and delivered timely. The stick windshield on my 09 BMW R1200GS was just a little too short for my tallish torso. The bugs would slam tight into my face shield. This unit perfectly deflects the wind just over the top of my helmet. Much of the time I can get away without my face shield. I just love the design and quality of this deflector. Easy to installl and super rigid as well. Could not be happier.Ver másVer menos

Does what it is supposed to do

For my 2021 cb500x, this windscreen extender makes a big difference. I can cruise at 80 kph with my helmet visor up, whereas before my head got knocked around and the wind noise was terrible. There is some vision distortion when looking through the screen, but I am looking over the screen most of the time so it's not a big problem. Also, the top-heaviness causes the original screen to wobble a bit when going over speed bumps or rough road, but at cruising speed it is fine. I will update this review if things change, but so far I am very satisfied with this product.Ver másVer menos

  solid product!

I purchased this product 3 days before my 1500 mile trip, i knew i have wind buffeting issue on my softail deluxe's shield but by luck found this on amazon. Slapped this on and zero buffeting issues on my head! I recommend the 2nd generation model due to the smaller clamps, reason i say that is the model i have, the clamps are longer and can get annoying if you can't ignore them in your view.Ver másVer menos

  Very good product

Very well made product.Fits my 2020 V-strom 650.It really eliminate my air buffiting problem. Before this, I have to close my helmet shield if driving faster than 60KPM.Now I can open the helmet on high way.Be aware the instructions is misleading about the soft plastics liner position. But if you pay attention you will figure out the right way.Overall love it. Very happy with this product. No need to buy expensive custom wind shield.I am 5feet8, and it doesn't bother me with front sight view.Ver másVer menos

  Great windshield extension, but.....

I ride a 2007 Suzuki C50, and had bad wind buffeting with the stock windshield. I got some windshield lowers but still had some wind buffeting, much less than before, but still a little wind buffeting. I decided to try out this windshield extension as it was much cheaper than other options.Good quality hardware, but as mentioned in other reviews, looking through the clear plexiglass is like looking through the bottom of a glass bottle. My line of sight was looking directly through the plexiglass provided in the box; I started getting some motion sickness so I had to look through the windshield instead. It was not ideal, but I had no other choice at the time. I had some clear polycarbonate lying around so I cut it to the same size and used that one instead. The hardware won't damage or leave marks on your existing windshield, but you have to careful tightening the screws as the silicone buffer may slip out of place. The windshield extension stayed on at 120 kph.I recommend this windshield extension to others, but just don't look through it! You may get a headache or replace it with your own clear polycarbonate.Ver másVer menos
