Kiddo loves this game, teaches strategy.
This game can be played fast and straight forward, or you can use it to teach kids the value of a poker face and a waiting game. Holding the card to swap tacos until the very end when kiddo thought they were hands down going to win by all the x2 cards is a spectacular parent move, and teaches them to trust no one :) Once the tears dried, and the childhood rage kicked in, we must have played about 4 more hands while they practiced their ruthless playing skills. I was proud. Cards are quite funny, easy to throw into a card deck box and take with you, and you really don't need the taco/burrito holders if you are on the road b/c you can just lay those cards down. VERY fun, and the additional blue add on pack they sell makes it even more fun. Watch out for that health inspector card! Highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

My niece’s family is obsessed — best gift I ever sent!
I bought this as a gift for my niece and her family, not knowing what to expect. A few days later she texted me a video of her kids (7 and 10) absolutely losing it with laughter. Now apparently it’s requested every family game night. The 7-year-old loves the food fight theme and the 10-year-old loves trying to strategize — so it hits both of them perfectly. Easy to learn, quick to play, and it actually gets the whole family off their phones. Highly recommend as a gift, especially if you have kids in that age range. Let them throw burritos
I bought this for my grandsons. They were very excited to play this. Mom was nervous about the boy's throwing things in the house. As a Grandparent I say, let them throw the burrito! Kids enjoy this game

Keep buying it, even though we’re oringal Kickstarter backers.
This game is a must have for a family. We have continued to buy this game over and over for gifts to goofy fun loving kids. We were original kickstarter backers and this is a frequently played game many years later.

A so-so kids' game
I feel like I'm going to come across as a real punk here, because this game was invented by a kid, but it feels like a game invented by a kid. Which is to say, by and large, not that great.It's a fun enough premise: fill a taco or burrito with funny food; whoever has the burrito or taco with the most fun food wins. And the food cards that you put in your "burrito" are fun enough and original: fish heads, bowl of rice, fried grasshopper, with funny little explanations underneath.That said, there's not much skill to the game. Maybe a little, but it's mostly the luck of the draw. I don't think it's supposed to have much skill, though, because you do things like get in food fights with other plays (not literally, just means you can take their cards or "fight" for ingredients based on who has the higher card, etc., steal good ingredients from their burrito, bad bad ingredients in, etc.Most games are about fifteen minutes long, so, mercifully, it's fairly quick. And my kid loves playing it.I guess what I'm getting at, is that if you're cool with a fairly mindless, make-it-fun-with-your-personality game, there are worse ways to spend your time. However, I personally wouldn't recommend it, as you could probably make up your own game just as fun with your own creativity.Ver másVer menos

So fun! Great for kids!
OK so this is so fun! Easy to learn, young kids can pick it up and have fun time making crazy combinations! Great fun for adults too! The colors are vibrant and the game design is nice! The cards hold up well and well made! The game plays at a mild pace.

Hilarious, Fast, and Surprisingly Strategic — New Family Favourite!
Taco vs Burrito has officially become one of our go-to games for family night! What looks like a simple, silly food-themed card game turns out to be incredibly fun and addictive.The rules are super easy to learn — we were playing within minutes — and each round is quick, usually around 10–15 minutes. The action cards keep things unpredictable, and we were laughing the whole time. Kids love the theme, but honestly the adults had just as much fun. It’s a great balance of luck and strategy, so every game feels different.The quality of the cards is great, the artwork is cute and funny, and the compact size makes it perfect for travel or parties. We’ve already played it multiple times and it hasn’t gotten old at all. It’s also impressive that the original idea came from a young creator — you can tell it was made with a lot of creativity.If you’re looking for a light, fast, and entertaining game that works for both kids and adults, this is absolutely worth it.
