Elegant and feels sturdy enough
Elegant case cover for the kindle. This is not real leather (which you should probably know from the price point and item description), but it looks and feels pretty good. I don't think anyone will mistake it for real leather, but it also doesn't look super cheap or synthetic. It's a nice case. I prefer this type of design because it protects the kindle, automatically turns it off when it's closed, and can be folded backwards to make it easy to hold with one hand. I got the brown one with the light embossing on the front which looks nice. Great little cover for the kindle.Ver másVer menos

So pleased this is still available and a terrific case...
Years ago I purchased the Fintie 6" Case for Kindle Paperwhite (Fits 10th Generation, 2018 / All Paperwhite Generations Prior to 2018). It underwent a lot of usage and began showing "wear" around the edges. I attempted to replace it in 2024, but the 6" version I purchased didn't fit (too big). Although still 6" and the same manufacturer, it was for an 11 generation and above.i recently found this perfect fit for the correct generation Kindle. It's well made, feels very comfortable in the hand, very attractive in color and style, and functions correctly. I'll take a bit better care to keep the edges from fraying (mostly happens when transporting it in my travel case), so I anticipate years of use.Ver másVer menos

I have a 32 gig Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader model B07745PV5G. I hope the pictures help you out, some have flash.This case fit the budget and the protection I was looking for. Right now it’s so hard to judge a book by it’s cover *giggles* when relying solely on online shopping. I patiently went through every review, every photo, every spec of detail I could find to figure out exactly what would suit best to protect the reader while incorporating me and my personality. I couldn’t be happier making the choice I made due to the info provided and comparing to others. Here’s why I love this cover:I read about case corners cracking because of the plastic cases being cheap. This has no corner covering WOOT! I call it breathe-able corners. There's nothing covering said corners, so theres no need to stretch the covering, or suffocate the corners. I do love the super tight hold of the velcro securing the reader in place. You should be anle to see that nicely placed on the inside bind of the cover, truly well placed in my opinion.I read a review about the weight being heavier. Now this I found interesting because to me this meant it’s truly got padding where it needs to be, magnets placed where they should be placed, and the stitching has to be stronger as a result. It’s only been 2 hours with this in my possession, and it feels exactly as I expected it would. My husband found the quality to be nice, as well as the kindle being heavier, saying “it went from a thin light reader to an iPad mini in weight.” For me, it’s the equivalent of holding a paperback book, and I don’t mind it at all.The sleep/wake function is solid! The satisfying click sound when its closed, the secure seal of it in it’s closed state, the fast responsive time upon opening the book cover, just right.The smell. Like opening a brand new book, I’m a sucker for that new smell. This has a very clean smell to it, not funky like some synthetic leathers smell.I mentioned my personality being something I wanted to reflect in this purchase. I love school supplies! I love writing, I love creating. This exudes the classic composition book that never fails! I’m going to put my fun art pens to this cover and add some pop to it. Even stickers would be a fast fun personality boost to the cover. Overall, this is truly a cover I love and will treat with care. Anything else I find to be notable as I use this will be updated in this review.

I've only had this case for a brief period, but i have to say I'm pretty impressed so far. I bought the vintage antique bronze case (looks like an old leather book) and the quality is absolutely above what I expected for half the cost of the official Amazon case with the fabric cover.For this specific case, I can't speak for the other models that have the fabric material, or the multiple different colored leather pieces, but this one feels like one big sturdy piece of leather (artificial leather of course at this price). But I think this particular model, as well as the maroon version, is probably the best bang for the buck. The full leather wrap feels incredibly durable and looks great.When I first started looking for a case, I honestly just wanted something to cover the screen while in my bag while keeping the slim profile as much as possible without spending the 30 dollars Amazon was charging. But after reading several reviews about the cases that require you to snap the Kindle into a plastic bit...a lot of people were complaining about the plastic pieces snapping off and disintegrating. I just wanted something to set and forget and not worrying about falling apart under minimal use, so I started looking at the models that slide into a fabric or "leather" bit instead. Some models were as cheap as 8 or 9 bucks but I kept finding reasons to not buy. I finally found this one and paid a little more hoping that it would feel durable and fill the purpose I needed, and I'm glad I did. It's incredibly nice. Holds my Kindle firmly in place, so the leather doesn't get in the way of the screen. Protects the edges from falls. And it looks and feels like a MUCH more expensive case.The only con I would give it, is that the flip on/off can be a bit temperamental, but 8 out of 10 times, it works correctly. But every now and then, it fails to register the case closing. Probably just a weak magnet. Honestly though. It's a non issue for me since I usually hit the power button before closing it for the night. At half the cost of the Amazon version, this case is a great option.Ver másVer menos

Classy & Sturdy
Fit my kindle perfectly, and was super easy to use! It doesn't block the screen at all, but it covers up the ugly color I got years ago well so it looks super classy. It is super comfortable to read with and doesn't get in the way or bother me when I am reading. The magnetic case is really nice so I don't have to remember to turn off my screen, and again it is just so beautiful and classy it looks like I have a classic book with me.Ver másVer menos

Stylish and lightweight Kindle paperwhite cover
I have enjoyed this cover very much. It's lightweight and stylish. The color (I got the brown) is as advertised and looks and feels great. It has a velcro strap thing to secure your kindle in place and magnetic closures that work great. And the "spine" of the cover is thinner than the front and back for ease of folding if you want to fold it in half as you are using it. The reason why I chose this cover over others I've seen for my paperwhite is because this one secures the Kindle in place with the cover covering and holding the Kindle; unlike others where I've seen the Kindle "snapping" in place of that makes sense. One I would have wanted is the pad and quill one my sister has for her older generation Kindle that looks like a book and covers the Kindle so there's no way the corners of the Kindle will hit anything if you happen to drop it and it has a strap on the outside that you can use to secure the whole thing. But pad and quill doesn't make covers for the paperwhite so this one is a great alternative. I can't speak on how long it'll last because I just received mine, but it looks like if you don't abuse it, it'll last a long time. Also some reviewers mentioned poor stitching, but mines didn't have that problem. I would recommend this product!Ver másVer menos

Sturdy and attractive
Always a dilemma for the elegant slender Kindle: A case will pretty much guarantee the Kindle will survive a drop or being roughly packed somehow. But the trade off is a balance between a slim minimal cover and this one. After reading about broken corners on those thin covers I opted for this version. It was similar to an old one I'd had for many years made by a now defunct company. I chose black with the brown edge because the interior part that holds the Kindle is black and matches it. I think that is very important. I would have preferred a different color on the outside, but I wanted the part I looked at more to be more seamless. Let's face it, this is not the most streamlined holder, but it gets the job done. I don't worry about damage if something goes awry. The wake on opening feature works well, and there is a flap on the inside vertical edge that keeps the Kindle securely positioned. The holder was a bit stiff at first to fold back behind the Kindle, but that has not been a problem. The exterior surface seems quite good, but I've only had it a month. I would like to think I could get a number of years of use out of it given the price. I don't have to worry about a corner getting crushed or breaking if dropped. This case provides plenty of security for the Kindle. I did read a lot of reviews. Appearance was very important as was durability and protection for the Kindle.Ver másVer menos

Beautiful looking and comfortable to hold
This case is beautiful! Fits perfectly on my kindle paperwhite 10th generation. It feels nice in my hand as well when I’m reading. I thought it seemed a bit bulky when I put it on but it’s actually more comfortable to hold than my previous thinner casing. The cover allows my kindle to sleep directly after closing it.
