Worked great for about 5 YEARS!
Lasted almost 5 years. I bought this in Dec 2021 and in September 2026 the "enter" button started losing responsiveness. Which is logical since it's the most used button. I think 5 years is a pretty good run for a $10 remote!

Great replacement
So far the controller has worked flawlessly with my LG smart TV. It looks almost identical to the original controller too. The connection was quick. Somehow the original controller got lost plus some buttons wwre getting worn and not working at times. This one has worked great so far. I also bought glow in the dark sleeves for the controller.Ver másVer menos

Worked as my OG did, just missing two buttons that didn't matter.
Literally almost identical to the remote I thought I had lost forever since moving. Hilarious enough as I was getting ready for church for the first time since moving... I found the original controller stuck up inside my dress shoes. Literally the same morning this controller was delivered. Only difference I noticed was this one didn't have the Disney+ or LG Channels buttons. My OG controller does... absolutely not offended by it. As I rarely use either of those. Functions as it should and almost a identical controller as my OG one.Ver másVer menos

A simple, reliable replacement
This was an easy replacement for my LG TV remote and worked as expected right away. The controls are responsive, the layout is familiar, and it feels solid enough for everyday use.

WAY better than the default LG Magic Remote!
The originally LG "Magic Remote" that came with my LG TV had really good button layout; however, it has one major problem, and most other people complain about the same thing: it has a screen cursor that it controls, and automatically turns on if you move the remote too much as you hold it. So even if you hold still and it shuts off, if you move too much to the right or left, it automatically turns back on, and starts selecting things in different areas of the TV screen. Then, even if you hit the 'back' button to shut it off again, now some item on the far side of the screen is selected, and you have to hit the arrow buttons over a ton of times to get back to where you want to be. And this just keeps repeating.LG, for some dumb reason, will allow you to adjust the speed of that cursor, but refuses to let you permanently deactivate it in the TV settings for some reason. They are one of the only companies in the world, that I know of, who take away your freedom to control your device, and to disable really bad features they created, like this cursor. Every other company in the world gives you the option to disable things like that, but not LG. They apparently like to control people too much.On the (somewhat) bright side, this remote -- the "Original LG AKB75095307 Smart TV Remote" -- is similar, except it does not incorporate that dumb cursor that's on the "Magic Remote".The cons with this remote are, the button layout is less optimal than on the Magic Remote, and it's slightly laggy, but not terrible. It also does not have voice activation/integration like the Magic Remote; however, the Magic Remote never interpreted voice commands accurately, in my experience, so there's no real loss there. (On a side note: Apple TV's remote interprets voice commands almost 100% accurately all the time, from my experience with them for years. I'm not sure why LG's remote is so much worse at it than Apple's.)Either way, even though this remote could be better in many ways, it's definitely worth buying this, if for no other reason than to get rid of that stupid "magic remote" cursor on the screen. Everyone complains about it, but not many people know about this remote!I lived with stress from that stupid cursor for most of the year on my 48" LG TV before I finally saw someone mention this remote online. And I'm very glad I purchased this, and chucked the magic remote in the trash. So, if you are also frustrated with the magic remote cursor, order this one, and you'll be living much happier!

no programming needed
i’m way too excited about this. i’ve had the same tv since 2018, the remote still works just gives me a hard time and the power button doesn’t work so i’ve been using an app on my phone just to turn the tv off or asking my son to come in my room and turn it off for me. this was perfect, literally no need to program just put tripple A batteries in and go. i wish i purchased this sooner i was under the impression id have to buy a universal remote and program it which i didnt wanna do which is why it took so long to purchase.Ver másVer menos
