  Perfect for Keeping in the Car and Fishing Whenever I Get the Chance

  I bought this because I wanted a fishing rod that I could easily take with me without having to plan an entire fishing trip. I love the fact that I can collapse it, throw it in the car, and have it with me whenever I happen to find a little time to fish.I'll admit, I wasn't sure what to expect from a telescopic fishing rod. I was concerned that it might feel cheap or flimsy, but I was genuinely surprised when I started using it. It feels solid in my hands, and the reel has been smooth and easy to use.For me, the convenience is probably the best part. There have been plenty of times when I've been out driving and thought, *“I wish I had my fishing pole with me.”* Now, I do. It doesn't take up much space, and I don't have to worry about transporting a long fishing rod everywhere I go.I've really enjoyed using this setup, and it has honestly made me fish more often simply because it's so easy to grab and go.   Great Multi Species Rod - 1 Year Re-Review

  ****Quick update.**** In the past year I have tried telescopic rods from multiple different manufacturers now (bass pro private label, king cast, EOW, and others) trying to see if there are better options out there. This Plusino combo is still tops in my opinion. Reel is still working, though it is starting to show some age 1 year and 400+ fish later. Bail doesn’t snap closed any longer and bearings aren’t as smooth, but this thing has been in the bed of my truck rolling around since the day I bought it. It still works too. Just landed. 4lbs bass on it this week.The rod however didn’t last the full year. It did snap on me after about 70 or so trips out. BUT, it was not entirely due to an issue the rod. I got one of my favorite lures caught in a tree and spent about 15 minutes trying like crazy to jerk it free. I put way too much stress on the rod tip and it finally snapped. After trying a few other collapsible rods with the Plusino reel, I ended up going back to this same rod. It really is just the best.My original review is listed below and I still stand by it. Completely worth the money.Used this little guy about 20+ trips already and I have been loving it. It was originally just going to be my back up rod, but it is so convenient I keep it in my truck at all times and now it’s the only rod i use.I threw 6lbs spiderwire on it and I can feel everything my lure is doing in the water. Also, feel every little nibble, bite, and I know exactly when the fish is on.Pulled in a couple 1.5-2 pounders on this set up and the fight is just fun. Even that occasional angry runner bluegill makes you feel like you’re reeling in a big ol slab.Super durable so far. I let it roll around the truck bed, pull up to a random spot on the side of the road, drop the line in the water, and have literally had zero issues (knock on wood). Easily landed 100+ fishing ranging from 1/2” guppy to 16” bass and this rig just keeps on working.As I said, I love this thing.Ver másVer menos

  Great 6 foot combo

  This is a really nice 6 foot pole combos. Is telescope so really easy to transport. The reel is really smooth with the 12 ball bearings 👌. The spin handle on the wheels can be folded with a press of a button. One down side is the bag they provided only fit the pole, not the combos so you kind of have to remove the reels every time you put them away 😆. But besides that, is a great combos and strong enough for a decent catch.Ver másVer menos

  Great value for a rod and reel combo

  I have purchased several Plussino spinning combos over the years. I've found that the reels work smoothly, and the rods are reasonably sensitive and cast well. In use, I can't really tell that it's a telescoping rod. I've used these in light saltwater, always rinsing with fresh water afterwards, and haven't had issues with corrosion. The instant antireverse on one did stop working until I took it apart and added lubrication. This is the most recent addition, and it feels similar to my previous purchases. The reel works smoothly, and the rubber handle feels good in the hand.Ver másVer menos

  Waste of money.

  I purchased this rod back in July but only got the chance to use it tonight 24th of August. I was only able to cast it three times before it broke. It is definitely NOT durable. I didn't even have a fish on to suggest that the weight was a factor. I have learned.........You get what you pay for. A cheap excuse for a rod.Ver másVer menos

  Great quality for a versatile fishing pole

  First thing to point out is the durability of this pole , which is hard to find in this type of fishing pole. I also want to point out one of the accessories the hook holder which makes life much easier when putting the pole away. It is smooth reeling and casting. It's also nice that it comes with a carrying case also. Very versatile whether you are driving a vehicles or putting it on a fishing back pack. Easy to just take alongVer másVer menos

  This combo will traveling with me everywhere

  For the price point I like it. I loaded up with some ten pound test mono and did some Texas Rig Senko fishing. It handled some 2lb LMBs pretty well. I did have to drag one fish through about 50ft of thich weeds. The sensitivity was pretty good but there seem be a lot of stretch which made the rod feel like a medium action. However, some of that could have been the ten pound test mono. The casting distance was good but a little whipped. The reel performed well. Sounded a little crunchy but that faded as I used it and hasn't returned. I think the new grease need to spread inside. Don't think I'll be be saying I wish I had a rod with me anymore because this combo and small tackle box will travel with me.Ver másVer menos

  good product

  easy to pack, great for backpacking fishing trips. Only issue is the screw fell off easily probably manufacturing defect

  Snapped Off

  Hi, caught a big fish on this rod. I already own Shamino telescopic rods so I have a direct comparison. This rod snapped off and the fish got away. I also think the diecast reel winder handle is cheap. Don’t buy this product. Spend your money on a mainstream brand.Ver másVer menos

  Bonne canne, malheureusement perdue pendant une expédition

  À la réception, la canne semblait vraiment bien conçue. Elle était compacte, légère, facile à transporter et paraissait assez solide. J’étais très satisfait de mon achat et j’avais hâte de l’utiliser.Je l’ai apportée avec moi lors d’une expédition dans le nord de la Colombie-Britannique. Malheureusement, l’expédition a très mal tourné : je me suis perdu dans la forêt et j’ai vécu une situation assez dangereuse. J’ai finalement perdu la canne pendant que j’essayais de retrouver mon chemin.Je n’ai donc jamais eu la chance d’attraper un poisson avec elle. Par contre, jusqu’au moment où je l’ai perdue, elle avait très bien résisté au transport, aux chutes et aux nombreux contacts avec les branches, les roches et le terrain difficile.C’est vraiment dommage, parce qu’elle semblait être un très bon produit. Mon aventure ne me permet pas d’évaluer ses performances avec un poisson, mais je peux confirmer qu’elle était pratique, solide et bien adaptée au transport en pleine nature.Ver másVer menos
