I'm a sr citizen (over 60) a ride an ADV150 Scooter with a 149cc motor and reach speeds up to 60-65 MPH. Even tho I wear the recommended riding gear - jeans, long-sleeve shirt, boots - I wanted more protection for my elbows and knees. Any pads I found for these joints were made to fit into pockets of clothes designed for them. I luv these bcuz they easily strap on in a minute so are adjustable and comfy to wear. They are aerated, so they aren't 'hot' to wear. They also extend beyond the joints to better protect the lower arm bones and shin bones. Also, when I go places and take them off, they fit one inside the other so I can store them in the compartment under my seat on my ADV.Ver másVer menos

These are very nice, just have to break them in out of the box

Not thick calve friendly
Sturdy and secure, but very tight. If you have thicker calves I do not suggest these, or I suggest getting an extender for the straps.

These are great for the price

No padding inside the middle layer
They fit well and looked great, but as soon as I went to kneel, my knees were greeted with hard plastic instead of cushion. I thought mine were defective, but as you can see in the display photo showing the vents in the middle, there is no padding in there at all. If you’re crafty you could definitely apply your own padding in that spot and these would be worth it to save a few bucks because they are comfortable enough and seem durable. I would not suggest these other wise, they’d definitely help you save some skin but even a small impact from your kneecaps or elbows to those hard plastic grooves is not gonna feel good.Ver másVer menos

Terrible Padding
Knee pads and elbow pads are light weight and the elastic closures keep them where you need them. They lack sufficient padding especially when the knee is bent. If you kneel down with them on you can feel the plastic rubbing into your knee which in the result of a crash most likely this will be rather panful as your knees typically are bent if you land on them.Ver másVer menos

Pretty solid
Solid perfect fit for the price.. lots of flexibility so you can still move with the bike in the air.. not sure how much they will really protect you but they give plenty of confidence
