Freedom, Beauty, and Mastery—This Is Gaming at Its Peak
Breath of the Wild isn’t just a great game—it’s a landmark. A masterpiece. It takes everything that made Zelda iconic and blows the walls wide open. From the moment you step into Hyrule, you’re free. No hand-holding, no limits. Just pure exploration, survival, and discovery. And it works. The world is massive but never empty. Every mountain you see, you can climb. Every strange shape in the distance is probably a hidden shrine or secret. You’re not just following a story—you’re living in a world that feels alive. Weather changes, enemies adapt, and the physics-based mechanics let you solve problems however you want. Want to chop down a tree to make a bridge? Do it. Set fire to a field and ride the updraft with your glider? That works too.Combat is smooth and strategic. Weapons break, which forces you to stay creative. Some hate that—I loved it. It kept me on my toes and made every weapon feel valuable. The shrines challenge your mind, the landscapes feed your soul, and the story carries emotional weight without ever dragging.Visually, it’s stunning. Not because of raw graphics, but because of art direction. The sunsets, the ruins, the silence between storms—it all feels sacred. Add in a minimalist soundtrack that swells at the perfect times, and it becomes something spiritual. This isn’t just a game—it’s a world you remember long after you stop playing. It’s what happens when a studio respects its players and gives them room to think, explore, and grow.Ver másVer menos

Fun
After I finished the legend of Zelda, tears of the kingdom, I needed a new Zelda game and this fit the bill. The game was fun and not all that hard to do. I am comparing it to tears of the kingdom, which was the best game I’ve ever played for my switch to.

Another decent Zelda game
Breath of the Wild is a solid entry in the Zelda series. It brings fresh ideas to the table with its open-world design and freedom of exploration. The game looks beautiful, and the gameplay feels smooth, with tons of secrets to discover. However, like many Zelda games, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel in terms of story. Overall, it’s a good game, with enough to keep you hooked. Another decent Zelda game that fans will enjoy.Ver másVer menos

THE greatest game of all time. For the first time in history amnesia has an upside, being that people can replay this game again for the first time. I envy anyone who has never played this game before.

Awesome game
To this day it is probably still my favourite game. Endless adventures and it's just a fun story. The only reason I bought a switch was to play this. You are dropped into Hyrule and without even realising it you are constantly exploring and leveling up, learning more about the game the tutorial is there without you even noticing. It is full of epic adventures I still haven't seen everything in the game 3 years later.Ver másVer menos

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch
A timeless adventure. The open-world design is breath-taking, and the gameplay is endlessly rewarding. Still one of the best Switch titles to date!

Fatastic for exploration, adventure and challenge
This game is a masterpiece. Once you get used to its manga-esque graphic style and get off the plateau you're originally confined to as a beginner, the magnitude of the virtual world, its intricacies and interactiveness are all superb. The mystique of the ancient civilization that preceded you is well captured and not overplayed. The puzzles presented as shrines are a fun but relevant break-away from the main game. Open to many different playing styles and with so many side-quests - this gigantic game could keep you entertained for thousands of hours. I enjoyed taking over 1 year to complete the game, and even now is still very playable. One of the things I appreciate most is the stunning visual elements of nature - breathtaking sunsets, amazing lightning shows, the winds, the rain - it was great playing this during lockdown!Ver másVer menos
