Great emergency light to have when your power is out!
Creates a lot of light in an emergency situation.

Customer Service was GREAT !
These products started blinking within months of purchase so I wrote a review. I received the nicest email from the seller giving me a toll free number to call which I did. I talked with the nicest fella who told me that he was getting three more lights out in the mail. I received them within days and so far, so good ! This was the easiest thing ever and I really appreciate the kindness shown to me by all involved. This really is a great product. If the power goes off, these lights come on immediately. I highly recommend them to everyone !Ver másVer menos

Energizer 4-in-1 Emergency Light for Home Power Failure
We are using it in the bathroom for a nightlight and in case of a power outage, even better. So far it's working out great and it's a brand name you can trust.

Almost perfect emergency light.
The nightlight portion was a bit too bright but I fixed that by opening it (took an odd triangle bit that I happened to have in my iFixit computer toolkit) and I put some sorta-opaque tape from a labeler across the 2 nightlight LED lenses. Couldn't think of anything else but a few layers did the trick, so now I have a night light that stays ON when the power is OFF and can be grabbed and the flashlight portion turned ON as needed in the dark. Also illuminates one of my fire extinguishers. It's perfect now! Have tried LFI Lights PowerOut Nightlight and didn't like, was way too bright and the logic of when it went on wasn't right, can't remember why.Ver másVer menos

When they work, they're good
Recommendation to purchasers: test these before trusting them. I've had several cases in which the lights would work as night lights but not as emergency lights. When you first get them, plug them in for 24 hours. Then remove them from the power source. If they light up, you're good. If they don't, try pushing the side button that toggles between bright wide light, low wide light, flashlight, and off. If it still doesn't work, return it. That said, I did buy a bunch of them so maybe one out of ten won't work.Update: more going back. Two out of the last batch fail when unplugged. One doesn't light at all (useless in a power failure, obviously) while the second comes on but lights both as flashlight and main light, and refuses to turn off at all. I can imagine it would be fine if that's all you had, but it sure doesn't work as advertised. Downgrade in rating. These are emergency lights that provide a diffuse light at night, and one or two will replace four or five smaller emergency lights. Also, they take up only one outlet instead of separate nightlights and emergency lights. The downside is that they are bulky and do provide light over a wide area rather than a focused spot. The upside is that they might replace several spot units with just one or two units.Over time, these lights start to fail by flashing constantly. Unless you're running a disco, it is very distracting. They do come on when there is no power, but until that time, one by one they start flashing at night.Another update: I suspect the company is simply repackaging lights that were returned for failing to work properly, since the failure rate is even higher now. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.Ver másVer menos

Perfect for Traveling
These are really nice. I have bought a few and even bought one to give to a friend. I take one along when traveling as well to light up dark hotel rooms. Highly recommend.

Sturdier than you think
This thing is sturdy! It was delivered in my garage while I was out, and when I got home I didn’t see the brown envelope on my garage floor, so I ran right over it! Well, it was still intact and not even a dent! Plugged it in and it works like a charm.

Failed in first 6 months
I like the light, but recently is started to flicker non stop. I drained battery and recharged but it didn't help. Not sure weather it is one isolated incident or more are like that. Otherwise when it works we love it.
